- Explain the definition and responsibilities of a midwife as well as the laws and regulations about the midwifery.
- Explain basic concepts about gynecology and reproductive system, national and international indicators.
- Provide neccessary knowledge about the anatomy and the physiology of the woman and man reproductive systems.
- List characterictics of a woman in every life cycle , identify the need for care and offer the appropriate care.
- Provide neccessary assistance and care for the healthy or risky pregnant and the family during the period from early pregnacy to post partum.
- Evaluate and interpret the genetic map of the patients and the diagnosis of the fetal health.
- Provide sufficient care which is appropriate for the pregnants and family and also perform appropriate attempts during delivery.

- Diagnose common gynecologic problem, offer appropriate treatment options and support public education in this aspect.
