Bu ulusal yeterliliğin amacı, Elektrik Tesisatçısı (Seviye 3) mesleğinde;
- Adayların sahip olması gereken nitelikleri, bilgi, beceri ve yetkinlikleri tanımlamak,
- Adayların, geçerli ve güvenilir bir belge ile mesleki yeterliliğini kanıtlamasına olanak vermek,
- Eğitim sistemine, sınav ve belgelendirme kuruluşlarına referans ve kaynak oluşturmaktır
Bu yeterliliğe ait öğrenme kazanımları, eğitim kurumları gibi örgün ve yaygın öğrenme ortamlarında edinilebildiği gibi işbaşında ve serbest öğrenme ortamlarında bağımsız olarak da edinilebilmektedir.

Bu yeterlilik, mesleki öğrenme kazanımlarının belgelendirilmesini amaçlamakta olup anahtar yetkinlik içermemektedir.
- Bu yeterliliği elde etmek isteyen adaylar birimlerde tanımlanan teorik ve performansa dayalı sınavlara tabi tutulur.
- Yeterlilik birimlerindeki teorik ve performansa dayalı sınavlar, her bir birim için ayrı ayrı yapılabileceği gibi birlikte de yapılabilir. Ancak her birimin değerlendirmesi bağımsız yapılır.
- Teorik sınavda adaylara, en az yirmi (20) soruluk 4 seçenekli çoktan seçmeli ve her biri eşit puan değerinde yazılı sınav uygulanır. Sınavda adaylara her soru için ortalama 2 dakika zaman verilir
- Beceri ve yetkinliklerin tamamı performansa dayalı sınav ile ölçülür. Performansa dayalı sınavın süresi gerçek uygulama şartlarındaki süreye karşılık gelmelidir. Performansa dayalı sınav gerçek veya gerçeğine uygun olarak düzenlenmiş çalışma ortamında gerçekleştirilir.
Kalite güvence süreçleri, Mesleki Yeterlilik Kurumu sorumluluğunda, ilgili mevzuat doğrultusunda yetkilendirilmiş belgelendirme kuruluşları aracılığıyla sağlanmaktadır.

Category: Special Purposes
- Candidates who want to achieve this qualification are subjected to theoretical and performance-based exams defined in the units.
- Theoretical and performance-based exams in the qualification units can be done separately for each unit or together. However, each unit is evaluated independently.
- In the theoretical exam, candidates are given a 4-option multiple-choice exam with at least twenty (20) questions, each of which is worth equal points. In the exam, candidates are given an average of 2 minutes for each question.
- All skills and competencies are measured by a performance-based exam. The duration of the performance-based examination should correspond to the time in actual practice conditions. The performance-based exam is carried out in a real or realistic working environment.
Quality assurance processes are carried out in accordance with the VQA Quality Assurance Document and the Guidelines in its annex.
