EXAM REGUALATIONS, ASSESSMENT AND GRADINGNew Century University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation is evaluated according to. The following are the methods used to measure whether the expected program learning outcomes are achieved during the Medical Laboratory Techniques program. The outputs related to the course units are shown together with the contribution to the final grades.• Midterm• Final exam• Make-up Exam• Homework Evaluation• Report Submission• Computer PresentationEXAMS:The success of the students in obtaining the predicted learning outcomes of each course unit in the curriculum of the Medical Laboratory Techniques program is measured by the mid-term activities and the final exams held at the end of each semester.The evaluation of the activities within the semester includes the minimum number of midterm and final exams as compulsory assessment methods for all courses in associate degree programs.The programs are encouraged to define more evaluation methods in the period activities depending on the need to measure the success of the results at the program and course level in order to achieve the educational goals and objectives. The quality and number of the evaluation methods used for each course are given under the title of ği Assessment and Evaluation una in the course descriptions section along with their contributions to the end of the semester. These regulations are announced in advance, at the beginning of each semester, and the course definitions sections are published on the website.Mid-term and final exams are conducted at the dates, places and times determined and announced by the university. The students are given by the lecturers taking into account the students attendance requirements based on the end of term grades, mid-term exam, homework evaluation, quizzes, final exam and other evaluation results.The contribution of the semester activities may be maximum 40% and the contribution of the final exam is at least 40% and 60% for all courses in the associate degree programs.Courses such as a mid-term exam, homework, homework, and / or work placement that do not require a final exam are determined by the management of the relevant departments and the specific assessment and grading methods for these courses are announced through the channels described above. The evaluation of such activities shall be carried out in accordance with the principles determined by the Senate and evaluated as Successful or Unsuccessful.GRADES: The success of a student is evaluated by the instructor for each assessment (in-term studies and final) defined for each course. (FF) grade is appreciated for students who fail. Even if a students grade point average (FF) grade is sufficient for success, this course is repeated.It is considered to have completed all courses in the curriculum and completed the summer internship and completed the education with a minimum of 2.00. The minimum ECTS for graduation is 120 years.

Medical Laboratory Techniques Program; According to the results of TYT score type, students are taken by ÖSYM with central placement. Foreign students are admitted to the program as a result of their direct application to the university.

The graduates work as Medical Laboratory Technician in public and private health institutions and organizations. The graduates do not have the right of working as individuals; they may work in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Histology, Haematology, Serology, Pathology, Parasitology Laboratories, Tube Baby Centres and Blood Centres of public and private treatment institutions with/ without beds under the Health Ministry. Additionally, they may work as technicians for medicine firms and food industry sector´s units of microbiology research, and universities´ research units. They can be appointed as Health Technicians in accordance with the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS).
