• The program is an eight-semester process based on higher education Secondary education qualifications, providing training in a specific field of learning or profession.

• Education and training are conducted in the form of formal, open, or distance education, with theoretical courses occurring in classrooms and practical courses occurring in halls. In addition, students are given practical training as internship training.

• They know the concepts related to Coaching Education and have the ability to use them in the field of sports.
• They have the ability to effectively use facilities, equipment, other equipment, training and information technologies related to their sports branch of expertise, according to the purpose.
• It contributes to the development of sports infrastructure, has the ability to discover and train sports talents at national and international levels, as well as acquires the necessary information in training athletes.
• Can measure and evaluate the performance of athletes and uses talent selection, competition analysis and statistical methods.
• Can make short and long term training plans for sports branches and adapt them according to changing conditions.
• He critically evaluates the advanced knowledge and skills he has acquired in fields related to the coaching profession, interprets the relevant legal legislation and approaches existing assumptions with a questioning perspective.

• The success of students in achieving the expected leaning outcomes of the each course unit within the curriculum of COACHING EDUCATION programme is evaluated via assessments of in-term activities and final examination which takes place at the end of each semester.
• Assessment of in-term activities includes a minimum number of a mid-term examination, homework and a short-exam (quiz) as compulsory assessment methods for all the course units within all degree programmes defined by the Regulations. The programmes are encouraged to define more assessment methods for the in-term activities depending on their needs for measuring the achievements of the outcomes at the programme and course unit levels in order to ensure the educational aims and objectives. The nature and number of the assessment methods used for each course unit together with their contribution the final grades are given under the title of “Assessment and Grading” in the sections of course descriptions. These arrangements are announced in advance, at the beginning of each semester and published in the sections of the course descriptions on this web site.
• Mid-term and final examinations are conducted in dates, places and times determined and announced by the University. The students’ final semester grade is given by their instructors based on mid-term examination, homework evaluation, short-examinations, final examination and, if there are any, other assessment results taking into account the students’ compliance with attendance to the course activities.
• The contributions of the grades of the in-term activities and final exam grade to the final success grade of a course are determined by the course instructor and announced to students within the first two weeks of the semester. Moreover, the contribution of the final exam cannot be less than 40 % and higher than 60% for all the courses within all the degree programmes defined by the Regulations.
• Course units, which do not require a mid-term, homework, short-exam and/or a final exam, such as work placement, are determined by the administration of the related departments and specific assessment and grading methods for these courses are also announced through the same channels described above. Evaluation of such activities is made through the procedures defined by the Senate and assessed by Pass (P) or Fail (F) grades.

Monitor the quality of the higher education programs;

• Higher education institutions are responsible for the planning, organization, management, and supervision of education, training and other activities conducted in higher education institutions.

• "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions, prepared every year within the framework of the criteria determined by Higher education institutions, are published. Quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is provided according to the "Procedures and Principles for Providing Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Creation and approval of the curriculum:

1.1. Higher education institutions, undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions Higher education institutions determine the minimum standards and criteria required for its opening.

2. Assessment-Evaluation: Evaluation of each undergraduate program for students. Measurement and evaluation of learning outcomes in accordance with the basic principles determined by Higher education institutions on these issues. It is conducted in accordance with the education, training and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs who successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions; receives a bachelor's degree.

4. Self-Assessment-External Evaluation: Higher education institutions, In the context of continuous monitoring, at the beginning of each year, the previous year's "Internal "Evaluation Reports" Higher Education Quality Board Higher Education Quality Board It enters the Information System prepared by Higher Education Quality Board, higher education "Institutional Feedback" prepared for the external evaluation of institutions. The "Notification Report" is shared with the public. Additionally, by Higher Education Quality Board issued by authorized or recognized accreditation bodies. Accreditation decisions also show that quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. It conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the Higher Education Quality Board legislation.

• Student admission to Niğde Omer Halisdemir University Faculty of Sports Sciences undergraduate education program is made according to the "Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS/TYT)" exam results conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center and the decisions of the Higher Education Council. With the announcement of the exam results, the Special Ability Examination Guide, prepared by the Faculty Board and accepted by the Senate, regarding how the exam will be conducted is announced on the website. All candidates (disabled, national and CV) who will choose the Coaching Department must comply with the Special Talent Exam Guide approved by the senate of Niğde Omer Halisdemir University.

• They can work as a trainer, sports training specialist or teacher in their field.
• Those with a bachelor’s degree can apply for master’s programs and related programs. If they meet these conditions, they are accepted with a bachelor's degree and doctorate, and they can continue their program.
