In the Coaching Training Department, advanced coaches and mentors, conditioners and masseurs are trained in sports branches that are increasing in number and variety.
The Coaching Training Department trains sports trainers who are in great need of our country in the field of sports. Department graduates work as trainers and assistant coaches in amateur and professional sports clubs, central and provincial organizations of the General Directorate of Youth and Sports, and schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In addition, they can take part in teaching sports activities and organizations such as private sports halls and tourism sector. In this program, theoretical lessons and applications related to movement and training sciences, sports health sciences and psycho-social fields in sports are included.
In addition, with the training given in the department; Practices in line with the development of sports techniques and tactics for the selection and guidance of athletes who are qualified, researcher, productive, who are looking for solutions by knowing the problems of sports and athletes at all levels, to work in amateur and professional sports clubs and national teams in all branches of sports and human movements. experts who make use of the scientific theoretical foundations of sports in their application areas are trained.

Learning takes place in the form of formal, open or distance education. Moreover; Practical training is provided in laboratories and workshops within higher education institutions or as internships or workplace training in industry, health institutions and workplaces.

• He/She blends his/her knowledge in the field of coaching with knowledge from different disciplines and interprets them to create new knowledge.

• At the level required by the coaching field, using the technical and technological equipment related to the field at a certain level, makes the necessary examination and solves the problems and problems.
• By making Talent Selection, it ensures that the athletes are directed to the relevant branches and follows their development. He / she knows the competition rules, all materials and features of the branch he / she specializes in the field, makes technical and tactical applications done, prepares the athletes for the competitions.
• Proposes solutions, solves problems, evaluates the results obtained, constructs new methods for better results in the field of Sports Sciences and Coaching.

• It is conscious of continuously improving its professional knowledge and skills by participating in national and international in-service training, courses, workshops, seminars, meetings and congresses organized by relevant institutions and organizations in the field of Sport Sciences.
• Makes research on professional practices that will set an example in his/her field.
• Can use a foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio B1 General Level, discuss and share their knowledge, current developments and their own studies in the field of coaching in written, oral and visual forms with groups in or outside the same field.
• Observes the social relations in professional and professional environment and completes the deficiencies by examining the norms that guide these relationships.
• He / she interprets strategy development and implementation plans on subjects related to his / her field of specialization (branch), evaluates the results in a scientific and ethical framework.

(1) Students are given a letter grade for each course at the end of the semester / year they are registered.
(2) This success letter grade is appreciated by the lecturer who teaches the course.
(3) In the assessment of the letter grade of success, the student's success in midterm exam, semester / year-end exam, mid-term studies and attendance to classes and practices are taken into consideration. The calculation of this letter grade is determined by the recommendation of the relevant academic unit board, the decision of the relevant board of the academic unit and the approval of the Senate.
(4) The student's success grade is determined over 100 full points. This score is called the raw success score.
(5) A student whose raw success score is below 25.00 fails from that course by getting a direct (FF) grade. The success grade of the student whose raw success score is 25.00 and above; The general condition of the class is evaluated with one of the letter grades whose coefficients and expansions are stated below, using one of the methods prepared by the decision of the University Education Commission and the approval of the Senate, taking into account the arithmetic averages and statistical distribution. After this evaluation, it is possible that the raw achievement scores of 25.00 and above have letter grade equivalents (FF).

In order to monitor the quality of higher education programs;

• YOK is responsible for the planning, organization, management and supervision of education, training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.
• "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions, prepared every year within the framework of the criteria determined by YOK, are published. Reports prepared according to these reports, containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations for higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.
• Every year, YOK publishes the "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report", which includes academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YOK. Quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is provided according to the "Procedures and Principles for Providing Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Creation and Approval of Curriculum:

1.1. YOK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.2. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will bring to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YOK on these issues.

1.3. The curriculum of National Core Education Programs is implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of YOK after being accepted by the relevant Deans Council.

2. Measurement-Evaluation: How to measure and evaluate the learning outcomes that each undergraduate program will provide to the student is carried out in accordance with the education, training and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YOK on these issues.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs, if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions; receives a bachelor's degree.

4. Self-Evaluation-External Evaluation: In the context of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter the "Institution Internal Evaluation Reports" of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YOKAK) at the beginning of each year. The "Institutional Feedback Report" prepared by YOKAK regarding the external evaluation of higher education institutions is shared with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions made by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YOKAK also show that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. It carries out regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the YOKAK legislation.

General admission requirements for Turkish and foreign students apply to start the program.

The main employment area of the Coach Training Department is the sports federations affiliated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, General Directorate of Sports. In addition to these, autonomous sports federations, sports clubs and sports centers constitute the main working areas.
