  • Explains the concepts and the relationships between concepts related to the field of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Comments and evaluates the relationship between human and physical, biological, chemical, social and cultural environment, using the knowledge and skills attained in the subjects of food and nutrition within the scope of the scientifically proven data.
  • Knows the national and international applications of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Knows the relationships of nutritional elements with each other, and their chemical reactions within the cell.Offers solutions to congenital and post-natal nutritional diseases.
  • Contacts with persons and institutions in other professional groups on issues related to the field of Nutrition and Dietetics; shares information with them, discuss issues and provide recommendations.
  • Applies appropriate nutrition program based on individual characteristics (age, gender, body structure, eating habits, physical activity and socio-economic conditions).
  • Related to the profession of data collection, interpretation, application and announcement of the results of stages, in cooperation with related disciplines, people, social, scientific, cultural and ethical values shall act in accordance.
  • Nutritional status of the community or individuals, using a variety of methods detects a healthy diet informs about the society or individuals.

Students have to take a midterm and a final examination from all courses in the education process. In addition, assessment in practical courses is done via adding it to both midterm and final points. According to the contents of practical courses, quizzes, oral exams, practical exams, activities, projects, seminar notes are used in the evaluation. Application evaluation forms are available for practical courses and appropriateness to these criteria for each student is evaluated via these forms.To graduate from this program with success, students have to take 120 course credits and 30 elective courses credits , they must graduate with a total of 240 ECTS credits.

In order to apply to this program, valid note must be taken from OSYM exam(YGS-2 score). Student that take valid scores can appy according to the current enrollment date.

Conditions for SuccessTo graduate from this program with success, students have to take 120 course credits and 30 elective courses credits , they must graduate with a total of 240 ECTS credits.120 hours of compulsory and 30 hours of elective courses and 240 AKTS are required to be completed in order to be graduated form this program. Students must achieve all courses.
