Başarma ŞartlarıMezuniyet için zorunlu yüksek lisans derslerinin öncelikli olarak alınması gerekir. Yüksek lisans eğitimini 120 AKTS ile başarıyla tamamlamış olmalıdır. Seçtiği konu ile ilgili hazırladığı tezi jüri önünde başarıyla sunan öğrencilere 'Yüksek lisans diploması' verilir.
İlerleme Yolları (İlişki Türü)

Yüksek lisans mezunlarından lisans eğitimi diyetisyen olanlar, özel veya kamu hastane ve polikliniklerde, ana-çocuk sağlığı, toplum sağlığı ve yaşlı bakımevlerinde eğitici, tedavi edici olarak hizmet verebilirler. Veya akademisyen olarak çalışabilirler. Ayrıca toplu beslenme yapılan kurumlarda besin veya beslenme ile ilgili yönetici, araştırıcı ve eğitici olarak çalışabilirler.

  • The student obtains information about technical equipment through recent set of knowledge.
  • The student synthesizes analyses, interprets and reports the acquired knowledge, offers solutions and shares knowledge and communicates with colleagues or interdisciplinary groups ethically.
  • The student has responsibility towards the problems that may arise in area of expertise, acts as a model for public, offers solution and uses communication technologies.
  • The student updates himself through adopting lifelong learning principles and evaluates and interprets the scientific articles with a criticizing approach through statistically evidence based practices.
  • The student gathers scientific knowledge through ethical principles, interprets this knowledge and contributes, conducts and evaluates the studies that will determine national and international nutritional plans and politics.
  • The student publishes and/or presents the scientific articles in national level after carrying out independent or group studies that are related with the area of expertise.

Examination, measurement and evaluations are carried out in accordance with the rules determined by the Health Sciences Institute of Biruni University and in accordance with the relevant regulations.1. Updates his knowledge based on the qualifications of the undergraduate program and acquires new information. 2. The student synthesises, analyzes, interprets and reports the acquired knowledge and develops resolution advisory. 3. The student performs accurate statistical methods to analyze the scientific research. 4. Makes use of and analyze the advanced knowledge about medical nutrition therapy specific to diseases. 5. The student has responsibility towards the problems that may arise in area of expertise, acts as a model for public, brings resolution advisory and uses communication technologies. 6. Analyzes the scientific articles critically and makes comments. 7. The student discusses and shares the current scientific developments with external or internal organs through excellent oral and written communication when required. 8. Prepares training materials according to the needs of the community and individuals, gives training on his field. 9. The student contributes, conducts and evaluates the studies that will determine national and international nutritional plans and policies. 10. Analyzes the effects of malnutrition and over nutrition on health

Access Requirements

a. Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dieteticsb. At least 55 ALES points (for students with Turkish citizenship)c. English proficiency certificate (TOEFL - Pen-paper test: minimum 550, TOEFL - Internet test: at least 80, IELTS - at least 6.0, YDS - at least 50 To be successful in written and / or oral science examination or to complete at least 3 graduate general grade points over 4 full grades• To fulfill the requirements stipulated by the Graduate Education and Research and Research Institute.

Conditions for Success1. Updates his knowledge based on the qualifications of the undergraduate program and acquires new information2. Progression Paths (Relationship Type)

Those who have graduated from a masters degree and are dieticians could work as educators and therapists in private or public hospitals and policlinics in maternal and child health, community health and elderly care homes, or they could work as academicians. They can also work as a manager, researcher and educator on nutrient or nutrition companies that provide public nutrition.
