| Başarma Şartları | Doktora programı, bilimsel hazırlıkta geçen süre hariç, tezli yüksek lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için kayıt olduğu programa ilişkin derslerin verildiği dönemden başlamak üzere, her dönem için kayıt yaptırıp yaptırmadığına bakılmaksızın sekiz yarıyıl olup azami tamamlama süresi on iki yarıyıl; lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için on yarıyıl olup azami tamamlama süresi on dört yarıyıldır. Doktora programı için gerekli kredili derslerini ve seminer dersini başarıyla tamamlamanın azami süresi tezli yüksek lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için dört yarıyıl, lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için altı yarıyıldır. - Hemşirelik lisans programının amacı birey, aile, toplumun sağlığını geliştirmek, korumak, tedavi ve rehabilite etmek üzere bütüncü bakım verebilen bu amaçla kritik düşünme, karar verme, problem çözme becerileri gelişmiş, etkili iletişim kurabilen, hemşirelik değerleri ve etik ilkelere uygun çalışan, sürekli öğrenme eğilimi gösteren, ekip çalışmasına uyumlu, sürekli kaliteyi iyileştirmek için değişim yaratabilen hemşireler yetiştirmektir.

This can be upgraded by University Senate. The scores of the candidates who have GRE or GMAT result certificates which are accepted as equivalents of ALES by the Council of Higher Education are calculated on the basis of the equivalent score table published by the Council of Higher Education. Candidates with a Bachelor of Science degree should have an undergraduate GPA of 3.00/4.00 or equivalent and should have a ALES score of at least 80 points. Candidates are required to have a minimum score of 55 from the English proficiency exam or an equivalent score from other international language exams that are accepted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). During the acceptance stage, an interview of the candidates can be made with the recommendation of the relevant department head and the approval of the Executive Board of the Institute of Science. The evaluation of candidates is made by the head of the department concerned and carried out by the Directorship of the Institute of Science. In the case where an interview is conducted, success rankings are made among the candidates according to the 50% of the ALES score, 20% of the score of the foreign language test or its ÖSYM accepted international equivalent, 20% of the undergraduate / graduate GPA and 10% of the interview result. | Conditions for Success | The length of the Ph.D. programme is eight semesters for students with a master's degree with thesis, regardless of whether they are enrolled for each semester. The period starts from the semester when the courses related to the programme are registered with the exception of the period of scientific preparation, and the maximum period is twelve semesters. The length of the Ph.D. programme is ten semesters for students with a Bachelor of Science degree and the maximum completion period is fourteen semesters in their case. If students, who have applied to the Ph.D. programme with a bachelor of science degree, failed to fulfil the credit requirements, or successfully complete the seminar course and/or failed to complete the thesis study within the maximum duration, then they will be awarded a master of science degree without thesis, on the condition that they have completed the necessary credit load, the graduation project and other requirements. Students who are admitted with a master's degree with thesis are required to complete all credit courses and a seminar course successfully in four semesters. - The programme accepts computer engineering students with M.S. degrees with thesis, educate them with the understanding of the theories and research methods for them to interpret and apply their acquired skills towards addressing advanced computer engineering problems and make unique, theoric or applied contributions towards advancing the state of the art.
- Ph.D. thesis should achieve at least one of the following objectives: bring innovation to science, develop a new methodology, or apply a previously known knowledge to a new area. Graduates will also acquire the skills to discuss their research in national and international events in writing and verbally in scientific meetings.
