| Giriş Şartı | Yüksek lisans programına başvuracak adaylarda aşağıdaki koşullar aranır: Bir lisans diplomasına sahip olmak. Mezuniyet aşamasında olan adaylar yüksek lisans programının başlama tarihine kadar diploma veya geçici mezuniyet belgelerini teslim etmek kaydıyla başvuruda bulunabilirler. Yabancı ülkelerdeki lisans programını bitirmiş adayların Yükseköğretim Kurulundan alacakları denklik belgesine de sahip olmaları gerekir. Tezsiz yüksek lisans programlarına öğrenci kabulünde ALES puanı aranmaz. Adayların değerlendirilmesi ilgili anabilim dalı başkanlığı tarafından yapılır ve Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Müdürlüğü tarafından yürütülür. Tezsiz yüksek lisans programlarına öğrenci kabulünde, lisans genel not ortalamasına göre adaylar arasında başarı sıralaması yapılır. | |
| Başarma Şartları | Tezsiz yüksek lisans programını tamamlama süresi, bilimsel hazırlıkta geçen süre hariç, öğrencinin kayıt olduğu programa ilişkin derslerin verildiği dönemden başlamak üzere, her dönem için kayıt yaptırıp yaptırmadığına bakılmaksızın en az iki yarıyıl, en çok üç yarıyıldır. Bu sürenin sonunda başarısız olan veya programı tamamlayamayan öğrencinin Üniversite ile ilişiği kesilir. Mezuniyet projesini tamamlayan öğrenci projesini danışmanına sunar. Danışman projenin uygun olduğuna ilişkin yazılı görüşüyle birlikte projeye ilişkin intihal inceleme raporunu alarak enstitüye sunar. Rapordaki verilerde intihalin tespiti halinde proje, gerekçesi ile birlikte karar verilmek üzere enstitü yönetim kuruluna gönderilir. - Teknolojik gelişmeler bilgisayarların kullanım alanlarını genişletmeye imkan verirken, her geçen çözülmesi gereken problem sayısı artmaktadır.
- Maltepe Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği programının amacı mezunlarına donanım ve yazılım konularında teorik bir altyapı ve bu teorik altyapının pratikte nasıl kullanıldığını öğretmektir.
- Amacımız mezunlarımızın farklı sektörlerin bilgisayar sistemleri ile çözülebilecek problemlerin çözümünde katkıda bulunacak mühendisler olarak yetişmeleridir.

| Conditions for Success | Students registered in a Master’s programme without thesis: Are required to complete the programme in two semesters, excluding the scientific preparation programme. The maximum allowed duration is three semesters. At the end of this period, if the students have not successfully completed the requirements the programme, they will be expelled from the programme. Are required to submit the graduation project to their advisor. Advisor should also submit plagiarism report and signed graduation report to the graduate school. - Computer engineers define and solve computer engineering problems using their knowledge in hardware and software.
- Today, computers have become an integral part of our daily lives.
- While advances in the technology expand the use of computers, the number of problems that need to be satisfactorily addressed increases as well.
- The objective of the Computer Engineering Department at Maltepe University is to educate the students with the theoric foundation of hardware and software subjects and teach them how to utilize this foundation to solve real life problems.
