Further Info | The recent advances in the information technology not only increased the need for computer engineers but also made it essential that professionals from different disciplines are familiar with the basics of the technology beyond the level of a simple user. Many advanced degree courses are designed to answer these requirements of the industry and furnish the students with the most recent advances in the technology. Training graduates from different disciplines also serves to reduce the gap between the supply and demand in the qualified IT personnel. Atılım University Computer Engineering Master's Program is designed with these criteria in mind for the graduates of Computer Engineering and other disciplines. The students who do not hold a Computer Engineering degree or who are not experienced in the fundamentals of the discipline are required to take deficiency courses in some of the areas of Computer Engineering. The degree courses are classified as hardware, software and computer science group courses and based on the interests of the student emphasis may be given to one of the groups. All students are required to take at least 1 course from each group and the total number of courses to be taken from these groups is 4. Access Requirements | Acceptance to MS program is done in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Institute of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences (Item No:5). Foreign students are accepted to the program either by their scores on internationally recognized exams such as SAT and ACT, or by their high school graduation grades. The acceptance of exchange students is based on the agreements (Erasmus or General Academic Protocols) between Atilim University and the exchange partner university. The following rules apply for the acceptance of foreign students to MS programs:

Conditions for Success | To graduate from the program, the student has to achieve a minimum of 3.00 out of 4.00 Grade Point Average and has to pass all of the courses in the curriculum with a minimum of CC/S/EX grade (Atilim University Student Admission, two-year and Undergraduate Education Rules And Regulations, Article 18, Article 25). A minimum of 120 ECTS credits have to be earned for graduation. In addition, the students have to give a seminar and complete a thesis in the program with Thesisoption, and a Graduation Project in the program with Non-thesis option. | |

- Student performance and relevance to the applied program
- Result of the interview by the Department concerned
- Letter of intention

- TOEFL IBT: 91, CBT: 233, PBT: 577, IELTS: 5,5, Atilim University Proficiency Exam: 60
- Because the medium of education is English, the students who cannot certify their English Language Proficiency are required to attend the Preparatory School for a period of one year.
