- Biyomedikal alanı ile ilgili temel matematik, fen bilimleri ve sağlık bilimleri konularında yeterli altyapıya sahip olma ve edindiği bilgileri kendi çözümleri için kullanabilme becerisi.
- İnsanın anatomik ve fizyolojik yapısı hakkında temel bilgi sahibi olup teşhis amaçlı kullanılan her türlü fizyolojik sinyali tanıyabilme, bu sinyallerin ölçüm yöntemleri ve elektriksel sinyaller halinde kaydedilmesi hakkında yetkinliğe sahip olma.
- Biyomedikal cihazların çalışma prensipleri ve kullanımı hakkında genel bilgi sahibi olmak.
- Biyomedikal cihazlarda kullanılan elektrik-elektronik devreler ile elektromekanik, hidrolik ve pnömatik modüller hakkında genel bilgi sahibi olma, problemlerini tespit, tanımlama ve çeşitli yöntemlerden uygun olanını seçip arızalarını gidererek kullanım sürekliliğini sağlama.
- Biyomedikal cihazlarda problem çözümü ve kullanım sürekliliğini sağlamak için gerekli ölçümleri yaparak veri toplama, toplanan verileri analiz ederek sonuçları yorumlama becerisi.
- Biyomedikal cihazların alım-satım, genel periyodik bakım ve kalibrasyon ve onarım konularında gerekli prosedürel ve teknik bilgi sahibi olmak.
- Sürekli teknolojik gelişmeleri takip ederek bilgilerini güncel tutma, bu yeniliklerden kaynaklı gelişmeleri kullanıma geçirme konusunda açık fikirli olma ve ek teknik eğitimler alabilme.
