- Türk dünyası ile ilgili araştırmalarla yararlı olacak yabancı dil ve/veya dilleri öğrenir.Öğrendiği yabancı dil ve/veya dillerde çeşitli çeviri faaliyetlerinde bulunabilir.
- Orta Asya da yaygın konuşulan en az bir yabancı dili bildiği için bu bölgelerdeki faaliyetlerde görev alabilir.
- Dilbilim ve edebiyat terimlerinin dünya ve Türk literatüründeki anlamlarını tanımlar.
- Türkçenin çağdaş lehçe ve edebiyatlarına hakim olduğu için Türk Dünyası ile ilgili her türlü sosyal projelerde görev alabilir.
- Türk dilinin kullandığı çeşitli alfabeler ve bu alfabelerin Türk dilinin fonetik karakterine uygunluğu konusunda bilgi verir.
- Türk Dünyasında edindiği bilgi ve kazanımlar çerçevesinde çeşitli saha çalışmaları yapabilir.Uzmanlaştığı Türk lehçelerinde aktarma faaliyetlerinde bulunabilir.
- Türk topluluklarının sahip olduğu ortak kültürel özellikleri nitelendirir ve her topluluğun ortak kültür mirasına katkılarını ifade eder.Modern Türk edebiyatının eski Türk edebiyatı ve Türk halk edebiyatı ile olan ilişkisini açıklar. Her bir edebiyat döneminin diğer Türk toplulukları arasındaki ortak ve farklı yönleri ile etkileşimlerini tanıtır.
- Çağdaş Türk lehçelerinin ses, şekil özellikleri ile söz konusu lehçelerin söz varlığı karakterini tespit eder.
- Türk edebiyatının ve kültürünün gelişim dönemlerini açıklar.Genel olarak edebiyat kavramını ve Türk edebiyatının tüm sahalarındaki tür, şekil özelliklerini açıklar.
- Türk dilinin tarihî dönemlerini tanır ve bu dönemleri ses, şekil, söz dizimi, biçimbilgisi açılarından yorumlar.
- Türk dili ve kültürü sahasının yayılım alanlarını tarihî ve bugünkü özellikleri ile birlikte ortaya koyar.
- Türk dilinin dünya dillerine etkisini ve dünya dilleri arasındaki yerini izah eder.
- Dili oluşturan, etkileyen, geliştiren bütün faktörleri açıklar.

| Description | Students learn language/s they might need in their Turkic studies. Students can take part in any social Project on the Turkic World as they have a good command of modern Turkic dialects, literatures, and culture. As students speak at least one foreign language common in the Central Asia, they can take part in activities in the region. Students can explain all the factors that constitute, influence and/or change language. Students can explain the relation of modern Turkish literature with Classical literature and folk literature. Students know the alphabets used by Turkish throughout the history and can comment on their phonetic appropriateness. Students can conduct field studies within the framework of the knowledge and features they get. Students can comment on the common culture of Turkic peoples and their contribution to this common culture. Students know the terms in linguistics, literature and grammar. Students can initiate, carry out and end any artistic, social and cultural activity about the Turkic World. Students can make translations between the dialects. Students can analyze the phonetic, morphological and lexical features of modern Turkic dialects. Students know the concept literature in general and can give information about all forms and genres in Turkic World literatures. Students know the historical periods of Turkish and can comment on these periods in terms of phonetics, morphology, and syntax. Students can explain the expansion of Turkish language and culture historically and contemporarily. Students can explain the place of Turkish among the languages all over the World and its influence on them. Students can make translations between Turkic dialects and foreign languages they learn. Students can explain the periods of Turkish literature and culture. | |

| Further Info | All students are subject to mid-term exam, mid-term studies (projects, seminars, term papers, quizzes or second mid-term) and a final exam. All exams are evaluated out of 100. Students must get at least 45 in the final exam. If the students get (AA),(BA),(BB),(CB) and (CC) they can pass the course. Students can only have two make-up exams at the end of each semester. The students completing the credits determined by the University Senate can graduate from the program earning a B.A degree. The students must complete 240 ECTS. | |
