Çocuk Gelişimi Programı, çocukların sağlıklı bir ortamda yaşayabilmeleri için eğitime ve danışmanlığa duyulan ihtiyacı karşılamak amacı ile kurulmuş bir ön lisans programıdır. Programın amacı, 0-18 yaş normal gelişim gösteren ve özel gereksinimi olan çocukların gelişimini destekleyici eğitim programı ile bu alanda çocuğa, aileye ve topluma hizmet sunan tüm birimlere, ara eleman yetiştirmektir.
- Çocuğu tanır, çocukta kişilik ve benlik gelişimini takip eder, çocuklarda uyum ve davranış sorunlarının kaynaklarını tanır, çocukla ve çocuğun yakın çevresi ile etkili iletişim kurar, çocuğun tüm alanlarda gelişimini takip edecek bilgi, beceri ve yeterliliğe sahiptir.
- Özel gereksinimli çocuklar dahil tüm çocukların gelişimini izler.
- Çocukların gelişim ve öğrenim gereksinimlerinin belirlenmesine destek olur.
- Çocuk hastalıklarını, acil durumlarda ilkyardım uygulamalarını bilir ve koruyucu sağlık önlemlerini uygular.
- Yeterli ve dengeli beslenmeyi bilir, gelişim dönemine uygun beslenme programı yapar.
- Çocuk ihmal ve istismarına yönelik önlem alır, çocuk hakları ve korunması ile ilgili uygulamaları izler ve işbirliği yapar.
- Okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında ve özel eğitim programlarında eğitim planı hazırlar ve etkili öğretim yöntemlerini uygulamada sınıf öğretmenine destek olur.
- Okul Öncesi çocuklar ve özel gereksinimli çocuklar için oyun ve oyuncağın önemini bilir, etkili oyun ortamları oluşturur, çocuklar için eğitici araç gereç ve oyuncak tasarlar ve üretir.
- Çocuğun yaş grubuna uygun sanat ve drama etkinlikleri planlar ve uygular.
- Çocuklar için hazırlanan yayınları inceler, çocuklara yönelik medya yayınlarını takip eder.
- Mesleki sorumlulukların ve etik değerlerin farkındadır.
- Alanın gerektirdiği düzeyde bilgisayar yazılımı kullanır, bilgisayar destekli etkinlikleri kullanır.
- Atatürk İlke ve İnkılaplarına duyarlıdır, Türk Dilini etkili kullanabilir.
