A Child Development Specialist, who is assigned to social services and works on the admission and adaptation of the child to the center, is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the development programs necessary for the emotional, cognitive and social development of children.Child Development Specialists, who can also be employed in the General Directorate of Security, Child Branch Directorate / Bureau, carry out activities in order to determine the material, spiritual and social problems of children and their families or those arising out of or under environmental conditions. In order to improve the situation of the child, the family and the school, social and health services in cooperation with organizations such as the physical, psychological and sociological factors that push children into crime, development of plans and programs to eliminate delinquency, those who are in need of protection, neglect and abuse exposed, home or they are responsible for providing guidance to the child and his legal representative, who escapes from the institution or organization, lives on the streets and works on the street, who are volatile, drug and substance addicts, who are pushed into crime and who are victimized. Child Development Specialists (those who have completed their master education in the field of child development) are responsible for evaluating the physical, mental and social development of individuals according to their age levels and preparing individual training programs according to the characteristics of the individuals.
