- Diş anatomi ve morfolojisini bilinciyle ilgili materyalleri kullanarak benzerlerini oluşturabilme.
- Diş eksikliğinin neden olduğu sorunları bilme ve farklı tipteki diş eksikliği olgularında protez planlaması yapabilme.
- Hasarlı dişlerin onarılmasında ve diş eksiklerinin giderilmesinde kullanılan çeşitli protetik apareyleri tanıyabilme ve çeşitli malzemeleri kullanarak bu protezleri yapabilme.
- Dental protez yapımında kullanılan araç gereç ve malzemelerin özelliklerini bilme ve bunları kullanabilme.
- İmplant ve implant üstü protezler kavramını öğrenebilme.
- Çene yüz anatomisini kavrayabilme ve ilgili protez endikasyonuna sahip hastalara uygulanacak protezler hakkında temel bilgilere sahip olabilme.
- Var olan dental protezlerin olası sorunlarını giderebilme, tamiri yapabilme.
- İskelet protezlerde biyomekanik ilkelere göre protez planlaması yapabilme.

Diş protez teknikerleri; devlet hastaneleri, diş hastaneleri, üniversite hastaneleri gibi kamu kuruluşlarında ya da özel diş protez laboratuvarlarında iş bulabilirler. Ayrıca isterlerse kendi diş laboratuvarlarını açabilirler.

- To be able to create similarities using materials related to tooth anatomy and morphology consciousness.
- To know the problems caused by tooth deficiency and to be able to plan prosthesis in different types of tooth defect cases.
- To recognize the various prosthetic devices used in the repair of damaged teeth and the removal of tooth defects and to make these prostheses using various materials.
- To know the properties of materials and materials used in making dental prosthesis and to use them.
- To learn the concept of implant and implant prostheses.
- To be able to grasp the jaw face anatomy and to have basic knowledge about the prosthesis to be applied to the patient with the relevant indentation of prosthesis.
