He/She is informed with reference to foreign trade-related basic concepts, theories of foreign trade and its historical process and practices. He/She has the capacity to interpret both regional and national, and conjuncture of global level as to the foreign trade.He/She gained the ability to use the basic theoretical and practical information that gained about foreign trade at the licence level (for example, faculty of economics, etc.).He/She gained the ability to use to the basic theoretical and practical information that gained about foreign trade at current life and business areas related to the profession, ability to interpret and evaluate the data obtained, ability to bring solutions to the problems the proposal and offer the evidences which supports solutions.He/She is able to independently conduct basic-level studies (export, import, foreign exchange, financial transactionsbusiness correspondence, etc.) related to foreign trade He/She is prone to teamwork while solving problems related to the profession at work life, is ability to take responsibility as a member of the team, can offer behavior analysis which will be able to exemplary to his/her subordinates in the event of unexpected complex problems. He/She is able to evaluate basic theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to the foreign trade with a critical approach, knows the ways of access to information for respond to deficiencies and requirements revealed by the critical approach. He/She doesnt does not find sufficient knowledge and skills that gained about the profession throughout life during both the undergraduate education and work life, aims to development and close the gaps about them. He/She shares his/her ideas at the level of basic knowledge and skills that had issues related to foreign trade both work life, and stakeholders who are uninformed about theories and practices of foreign trade.He/She can make all kinds of correspondence for respond to the problems, deficiencies and requirements about foreign trade; cooperates with both import (export) companies and, local, national and international institutions and organizations (when necessary). He/She can use the basic computer programs, foreign trade package programs, information and communication technologies which the staff needs.At the research and projects, data collection, stages of implementation and the results announced; he/she whether has social, scientific, cultural and ethical values or, relations with stakeholders in work life and society by taking base the principles of universality of social rights and social justice, he/she exhibits behaviors example of the social environment with his/her states and actions.He/She adopts total quality management system in all the studies as the basic philosophy, moves without ignoring the issue of business and worker health/safety, sustainable development .

Students who wish to register for the department must complete the processes which were determined by OSYM and achieve the exams within the framework of the universitys academic and legal regulations.

The graduates of foreign trade program can work in organizations under the Ministry of Finance and Customs, commerce and industry chambers, banks and financial institutions (expecially in departments of foreign Exchange), firms dealing with export and/or import, insurance, customs and institutions of foreign trade consultancy and transport companies.
