Gebelik tanısı koyarak gerekli muayeneleri yapan, doğum öncesi anneyi ve bebeği izleyen ve bakımını yapan, riskli gebelerin erken tanılanması ve izlemini, doğum anında annenin ve bebeğin bakımını yapan, normal doğumları yaptıran, anne ve yeni doğandaki anormal durumları belirleyen, annenin doğum sonu dönemde bakım ve izlemini yapan ve riskli durumlarda sevk eden, aile planlaması ve uygulamalarına katılan ebeler yetiştirmektir.
- Ebeliğin tanımını, ebelerin rolerini, sorumluluklarını, kanun ve yasalarını açıklayabilir.
- Kadın ve üreme sağlığına ilişkin temel kavramları, ulusal ve uluslar arası göstergeleri açıklayabilir.Kadının tüm yaşam evrelerindeki özellikleri ve bakım gereksinimlerini bilir ve uygun bakımı verebilir.
- Üreme sağlığı konusunda, tüm kadınlara sağlık eğitimi ve danışmanlık hizmeti verebilir.
- Kadın ve erkek üreme organları anatomisi ve fizyolojisini açıklayabilir.
- Gebeliğin oluşumundan doğum sonu döneme kadar geçen dönemde normal/riskli gebe, lohusa ve ailesinin gereksinimi olan nitelikli bakımı verebilir.

To list characterictics of a woman in every life cycle , identify the need for care and offer the appropriate care and provide support, counselling and training women from different backgrounds about the reproductive system and gynecology.To explain the anatomy and the physiology of the woman and man reproductive systemsTo provide neccessary assistance and care for the healthy or risky pregnant and the family during the period from early pregnacy to post partum. Also educate families.To explain how to evaluate fetal health and give consultation on genetics.To provide sufficient care which is appropriate for the pregnants family also perform appropriate attempts during delivery. know situations faced in riski deliveries perform appropriate attempts.To know topics of basic medical sciences can apply in professional practices.To explain diagnostic and curative methods for common gynecologic problems and , gynecologic tumors and can offer appropriate service and support public education in this aspect.
