Students will be notified at the beginning of the semester in which the students will be assessed.These evaluations include; midterm exam, final exam, BIRDEHA note, quiz, homework grades, presentation notes and practice notes.When the students grade for each course is entered into the system, the semester grade is automatically assigned by the system as one of the letter grades.The student who will graduate from midwifery department has to fulfill the following conditions; to learn the aimed program learning outputs in the semester, to successfully complete all the courses in the curriculum, to achieve 240 ECTS, To pass at least 2.00 over 4.00 as a passing grade and not leave any lessons.

To be able to accept the program, need to be a high school graduate. The program is accepted as a student with MF-3 score type of LYS. Student applications and acceptance from abroad are carried out within the framework of the principles related to acceptance of students from abroad stated in the Higher Education Council dated 27.01.2010 and numbered 384-3270 and in accordance with the Student Application and Registration Directive from Biruni University Abroad.

In todays conditions, where university graduates have difficulty finding jobs on the field where they are studying, midwifery students have the opportunity to choose their study area in various health care institutions before graduating.Graduates can work as free midwives by opening private health cabins, public, university and private hospitals, community health centers, family health centers, pregnant education centers, parents schools. Due to the high birth rate, infant mortality rate, general fertility rate and maternal mortality rate in our country, the need for the midwife is high and the current number of midwives is far from meeting the need. Thats why the demand for graduates from the program is high.
