- Ebelik lisans düzeyi yeterliliklerine dayalı olarak, ebelik alanında uzmanlık düzeyinde kuramsal ve uygulamalı güncel bilgilere sahiptir, bu bilgileri geliştirir ve derinleştirir.
- Ebeliğin kavram, kuram ve ilkeleri hakkında bilgilerle ebelik felsefesinin geliştirir.
- Ebelik mesleğinin sorunlarını tanımlayabilir ve ulusal ve uluslararası mesleki ve yasama kuruluşları ile işbirliği içinde uygun stratejiler geliştirir.
- Kadın, aile ve topluma sağlığı geliştirici, hastalıkları önleyici, tedavi edici ve destekleyici ebelik hizmeti sunar.
- Kadın, aile ve toplum sağlığına ilişkin temel kavramları, ulusal ve uluslar arası göstergeleri açıklar ve tartışır.
- Kadının tüm yaşam evrelerindeki özelliklerini, potansiyel ve mevcut biyo-psiko-sosyal sorunlarını bilir, bakım gereksinimlerini söyler ve problem çözme yaklaşımı ile kanıta dayalı ebelik bakımı verir.
- Kanıta dayalı uygulamaları takip eder ve mesleki uygulamalar ile ilgili kendi alanında kanıt oluşturacak araştırmalar yapar.
- Ebelik alanında bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmeleri izler, literatür tarar, yaşam boyu öğrenme ilkeleri doğrultusunda elde ettiği yeni bilgileri eleştirel bir yaklaşımla değerlendirir ve kullanır.
- Etik ilkelerin ve etik kurulların birey ve toplum için önemini bilir ve etik davranır.

- Based on midwifery degree level qualifications, to be able to comprehend the theoretical, practical and to-date information at the level of expertise in midwifery, and develop this information.
- To be able to develop the philosophy of midwifery with information about concepts, theories and principles of midwifery.
- To be able to define the issues of profession of midwifery, and develop the appropriate strategies of national and international professional in cooperation with legislative bodies.
- To be able to offer midwifery service of the women, family and community health promoting, disease preventive, curative and supportive.
- To be able to describe and discuss the basic concepts of women, family and community health, the national and international indicators.
- To be able to comprehend characteristics of all life stages of women, the potential and existing bio-psycho-social problems, and state care requirements, and give evidence-based midwifery care with problem-solving approach.
- To be able to follow evidence-based practices related to professional practice and conduct research to create evidence of their field.
- To be able to monitor scientific and technological developments in the area of midwifery, scan literature, critically evaluate and use new information obtained in accordance with the principles of lifelong learning.
- To be able to comprehend the importance of ethical principles and ethics committees for individual and society, and treat according to ethical principles.
