| Giriş Şartı | Bu programa başvuran bütün adayların genel başarı notu, aday değerlendirme jürisi tarafından ALES puanının %60’ı, lisans ve/veya yüksek lisans genel not ortalamasının %20’si ve giriş sınavı sonucunun %20’si dikkate alınarak hesaplanır. Yapılan sıralama sonucunda kontenjan sayısı kadar aday programa kabul edilir. | |
| Başarma Şartları | Yeterlilik Koşulları, Mezuniyet koşulları bölümünde açıklandığı gibidir.Program; toplam 21 yerel krediden az olmamak koşuluyla en az yedi adet ders, yeterlik sınavı, tez önerisi, tez sunumu ve tez savunmasından oluşur. Yüksek lisans dersleri zorunlu ve seçmeli derslerden oluşur. Programın toplam AKTS kredisi 240dır. Öğrencinin kayıtlandığı bir dersin sınavına girebilmesi için o derse en az %70 oranında, uygulamalara ise en az % 80 oranında devam etmesi gerekir. Arasınav ve final sınavlarının yanı sıra derslerde raporlar, ödevler, quizler, seminer sunumları ve proje çalışmaları gibi öğrenme aktiviteleri öğrencinin yarıyıl içindeki performans değerlendirmesinde kullanılabilir. Öğrencinin ilgili dersten başarılı sayılabilmesi için bu notun en az 100 üzerinden 75 olması gerekir. Öğrenci başarısız olduğu derslere, tekrar kayıt yaptırabileceği gibi danışmanının onayladığı başka lisansüstü dersler de alabilir. Ayrıca danışman ve ilgili enstitü anabilim dalı başkanlığının önerisi ve Enstitü Yönetim Kurulu onayı ile diğer yükseköğretim kurumlarında verilmekte olan derslerden seçilebilir. Diğer yükseköğretim kurumlarından alınan derslerin dokuz krediyi aşmamak koşuluyla ne kadarının asgari 21 kredilik ders yükünden sayılabileceği enstitü tarafından belirtilir. Derslerini başarı ile tamamlayan öğrenci, yeterlik sınavına alınır. Bu sınavdan da başarılı olması halinde tez önerisini jüri önünde sunar. Altı aylık sürelerle tezindeki ilerlemesini ve sonuçları tez izleme komisyonuna sözlü olarak sunar. Seminer ve tez çalışması yerel kredi sistemine göre kredisiz olup başarılı veya başarısız olarak değerlendirilir. Öğrenci, tezi ile ilgili elde ettiği sonuçları, ilgili enstitünün tez yazım kurallarına uygun biçimde yazmak ve tezini jüri önünde sözlü olarak savunmak zorundadır. Tez sınavının tamamlanmasından sonra jüri tez hakkında salt çoğunlukla kabul, red veya düzeltme kararı verir. Tezi hakkında düzeltme kararı verilen öğrenci en geç altı ay içinde gereğini yaparak tezini aynı jüri önünde tekrar savunur. Bu savunma sonunda da tezi kabul edilmeyen öğrencinin kaydı silinir. | |
| İlerleme Yolları (İlişki Türü) | Herhangi bir özel kuruluşta ya da bir kamu kuruluşunda görev yapıyorken aynı zamanda Eğitim programları ve öğretim doktora programından mezun olanlar kurumsal koşulların elverişli olması durumunda, çalışma alanlarıyla ilgili daha üst düzey pozisyonlara atanabilmektedirler ya da kendilerinden uzman olarak yararlanılmaktadır. Bunun yanısıra ilgili yasal düzenlemeler gereği kamu görevlisi olarak çalışıyorken doktora programını bitiren kişilerin hizmet yıllarına bir kademe yükselmesi uygulanmaktadır. At the end of the program the students will be able to originally contribute to concepts, theories, approaches, techniques or models in the disciplinary field of curriculum and instruction. At the end of the program the students will be able to conduct curriculum studies which can direct policy, concepts and applications of education. At the end of the program the students will be able to conduct and/or publish original studies/publications in the disciplinary field of curriculum and instruction. The end of the program the students will be able to propose original solutions to problems related to the disciplinary field of curriculum and instruction. | Access Requirements | The general achievement score for all candidates who apply to this programs is calculated by the candidate assessment judges by taking the %60 of ALES the %20 of the CGPA of undergraduate or master program and the %20 of the entrance exam into account. Candidates are put in an order of achievement and accepted within the limits of the contingency. | |
| Conditions for Success | Qualification Requirements are explained in the section “Graduation requirements” .The doctorate programme consists of a minimum of seven courses, with a minimum of 21 national credits, a qualifying examination, a dissertation proposal, and a dissertation. The period allotted for the completion of the Doctorate programmes is normally eight semesters (four years). However, while it is possible to graduate in a shorter time, it is also possible to have an extension subject to the approval of the graduate school. The seminar course and thesis are non-credit and graded on a pass/fail basis. The total ECTS credits of the programme is 240 ECTS. A student may take undergraduate courses on the condition that the courses have not been taken during the undergraduate program. However, at most two of these courses may be counted to the Doctorate course load and credits. The PhD students are required to take the Doctoral Qualifying Examination, after having successfully completed taught courses. The examination consists of written and oral parts. The Doctoral Qualifying Committee determines by absolute majority whether a candidate has passed or failed the examination. Students who fail the Qualifying Examination may retake the examination the following semester. Students failing the Examination a second time are dismissed from the program. Students must register for thesis work and the Specialization Field course offered by his supervisor every semester following the semester, in which the supervisor is appointed. A dissertation supervisor who must hold the minimum rank of assistant professor is appointed for each PhD student. When the nature of the dissertation topic requires more than one supervisor, a joint-supervisor may be appointed. A joint-supervisor must hold a doctoral degree. Periodic monitoring of research work by a thesis monitoring committee is required to be awarded the Doctoral degree. A student who has completed work on the thesis within the time period, must write a thesis, using the data collected, according to the specifications of the Graduate School Thesis Writing Guide. The thesis must be defended in front of a jury. The thesis jury is appointed on the recommendations of the relevant Department Chairperson and with the approval of the Administrative Committee of the Graduate School. The jury is composed of the thesis supervisor and 5 faculty members. Of the appointed jury members, up to two may be selected from another Department or another University. The co-supervisor cannot be the jury member. Thesis defense by the candidate is open to all audience and a jury decides to grant/deny the Doctoral degree. A majority vote by the jury members determines the outcome of the thesis or examination. The vote can be for acceptance , rejection or correction . A student may be given, by a decision of the Administrative Committee of the Graduate School, up to six months to complete the corrections. The student must then retake the thesis examination. | |
