• The exams are conducted according to the Gaziosmanpaşa University Graduate Education and Examination Regulation which was published in Official Gazette with 28733 number in 12.08.2013. According to the article 18 of the relevant regulation, the students getting 70 out of 100 are successful in their courses.
• The following is the grades and coefficients: Grade AA AB BA BB BC CB CC CD DC DD FF Coefficient 4.0 3.7 3.4 3.1 2.8 2.5 2.2 1.9 1.6 1.3 0 Percentage 95 - 100 90-94 85-89 80-84 75-79 70-74 65-69 60-64 55-59 50-54 0-49 (3) Other grades are: Students who fail the participation requirement cannot take the final exam, even if they do, their exams are invalid.
• These students are announced before the final exam by the lecturer.
• These students get the grade DZ.
• The students not taking the final exam get the grade GR.
• The successful students in noncredit courses get YT and the students fail the noncredit courses get YZ.
• In order to overcome the deficiencies of the students who graduated from different programs, scientific preparation program is conducted. Maximum duration for scientific preparation is 2 semesters.
• It is not possible to register the program before scientific preparation.
• The regulation related to the department that the students are taking courses from are valid for the scientific preparation program.

The students are accepted to the Ph. D. Program according to the Gaziosmanpaşa University Graduate Education and Examination Regulation which was published in Official Gazette with 28733 number in 12.08.2013. 5-10 students are accepted to the department in each Semester. The applicants should have the master diploma specified in the notice and at least 55 academic postgraduate education entrance exam score/or equivalent; the applicants applying with the bachelor diploma should have at least 80 academic postgraduate education entrance exam score/or equivalent and 80 out of 100 gpa or equivalent.
