  • To have a critical understanding about the existing theories, research and practice in the field of education management and inspection, and understand and evaluate the relationships between the theory and practice of education management and inspection.
  • To be able to examine the sub-topics related to the field of education management and inspection.
  • To be able to understand the relationships between the field of education management and inspection and other related disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, philosophy, general management, economics, politics, and to have necessary knowledge and skills to be able to carry out interdisciplinary research.
  • To be able to use the knowledge about the education management and inspection for the development and effective management of educational organisations at different levels.
  • By using the knowledge about the education management and inspection, to be able to define the issues regarding the management and inspection of the education system, and to develop new perspectives with the help of the information obtained from other related disciplines.
  • To be able to inspect and understand the education management and inspection issues within the framework of scientific problem solving, and to suggest solutions to the problems of the education system by utilising both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • To gain the ability to use the statistical software applications commonly employed in the field of education management and inspection research, and to be able to use the information and communication technologies effectively when sharing information and data.
  • To be able to follow the international studies in the field of education management and inspection, to take part in social and scientific research groups at the international level, and to have the necessary skills of writing and speaking a foreign language for being able to share and communicate own research at the international level.
  • To be able to interpret the strategies, policies and plans of the educational system in terms of the theories and principles of education management and inspection, and to evaluate the results based on the national and international quality indicators.
  • To be able to motivate people by managing the social relations dynamics, and to utilise the leadership skills required in their social and educational environments.

In this program, the assessment of each module will be based on: 40% midterm and 60% final examination. This may be subject to change depending on the workload and content of each module.In order to graduate from the Master of Education Management and Inspection degree, students are expected to complete and pass at least seven modules (5 compulsory, 2 optional) and present one seminar work and write a dissertation.

Applicants of the Master of Education Management and Inspection program are required to either hold a Bachelor Degree of the Faculty of Education or have graduated from other undergraduate programs and received pedagogical training course.Admission Criteria (Points)•50% of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam Score•20% of the Grade Point Average Score (GPA)•20% of the Science Exam Score (written or oral)•10% of the Foreign Language Test Score

Conditions for SuccessIn order to graduate from the Master of Education Management and Inspection degree, students are expected to complete and pass at least seven modules (5 compulsory, 2 optional) and present one seminar work and write a dissertation.In order to gain the Master of Education Management and Inspection degree, candidates must complete and pass at least seven modules (with a minimum of 21 credits), present a seminar work and write a dissertation. Seminar work and dissertation have no credits and all the candidates are expected to complete them successfully.

Students who graduate from this program can work in the field of school management and educational inspection in both Ministry of National Education and other educational institutions.
