| Program Profili (Amaç) | Elektrik: elektriğin üretilmesi, denetim altına alınması, nakledilmesi, dağıtımı aynı zamanda; ısıtmada, aydınlatmada ve güç temininde kullanılması ile ilgili bilimdir. Yine aynı derecede önemli olarak elektrik donanımının üretilmesi, denenmesi ve ölçülmesi yönleri de bulunmaktadır. Bu alanlara ek olarak, yapılarda elektriğin emniyetle tesis edilmesi ve bakımının yapılması da vardır. Elektrik Teknikeri; yukarıdaki konulardan tamamında geniş bir bilgiye sahip bulunan, ancak bu konulardan birinde uzmanlaşmak üzere eğitilmiş kimsedir. - Makine, ekipman ve tesisatı kurar.
- İş yerinde enerji kaynakları, sağlık ve emniyet ile ilgili kanuna dayalı yönetmeliklerin nerede uygulanacağını bilir.
- Fabrikadaki elektrikle ilgili fiziksel talepleri bilir.
- Ekipmanları devreye alma ve kontrol işlemlerini, Makine ve teçhizatın periyodik/koruyucu bakımını yapar.
- Koruyucu/Emniyet tesisatının, Dahili ve harici tesisatın, Elektrikli makine ve teçhizatının bakım ve onarımını yapar, arızalarını giderir.
- Mühendislik çizimlerini ve şemaları okur, yorumlar.
- Elektrik mühendisliği sanayisinde kullanılan malzemelerin avantaj ve dezavantajlarını değerlendirir.
- Fabrikadaki imalat kontrol bakım ve işletmeye alma işlemlerinde kullanılan makine ve teçhizatı tanır ve kullanır.
- İş organizasyonu, Planlama ve tasarım yapar. Keşif işlemlerini yürütür. Muayene test ve kabul işlemlerini bilir.
- Sistemle ilgili malzeme ve teçhizatın yerleştirilmesi, sınıflandırılması, ayarlanmasını yapar.
- Aydınlatma ve güç sistemlerinin tesisini kurar. İletim ve dağıtım sistemlerinin tesisine nezaret eder.
- Standartlarda ve yönetmeliklerde detayları verilen teknikleri uygular. Çalışma ortamına uygun kablo makine ve teçhizatın seçimi, sınıflandırılması ve ayarlanmasını yapar.
- Çubuk grafikleri, kritik-yol-şebekelerini, montaj şemalarını devre ve şematik diyagramları yorumlar. Mesleki gelişime ilişkin faaliyetleri yürütür. Tesisatı kontrol eder ve onarır.
