Başarma Şartları | Doktora yeterlik sınavına girebilmek için öğrencinin tüm derslerini başarıyla tamamlaması ve AGNO`sunun ez az 3.00/4.00 olması gerekir. AGNO`su 3.00/4.00`ün altında olan öğrenciler, bu şartı sağlayana kadar danışmanının uygun göreceği ders/dersleri alır. Bu derslerin alımı sırasında geçen süre, azami süreden kullanılmış sayılır. Doktora yeterlik sınavı, akademik takvimde belirlenen tarihlerde yılda iki kez yapılır. Doktora programına kayıtlı öğrenciler en geç beşinci yarıyılın, lisans sonrası doktora programına kayıtlı öğrenciler ise en geç yedinci yarıyılın sonuna kadar yeterlik sınavına girmek zorundadır. Doktora yeterlik sınavları, her eğitim öğretim yılı için ilgili ana bilim/bilim dalı başkanlığının önerisi ve enstitü yönetim kurulunun onayıyla oluşturulan beş kişilik doktora yeterlik komitesi tarafından düzenlenir ve yürütülür. Komite, farklı alanlardaki sınavları hazırlamak, uygulamak ve değerlendirmek amacıyla sınav jürileri kurar. Sınav jürisi en az ikisi kendi yükseköğretim kurumu dışından olmak üzere, danışman dâhil beş öğretim üyesinden oluşur. Danışmanın oy hakkı olup olmadığı hususunda ilgili enstitü yönetim kurulu karar verir. Danışmanın oy hakkı olmaması durumunda jüri altı öğretim üyesinden oluşur. Doktora yeterlik sınavı, yazılı ve sözlü sınavlardan oluşur. Yazılı sınavda başarılı olan öğrenci sözlü sınava alınır. Sınavların formatı, ağırlıkları, başarı kriterleri ve notların hesaplanması doktora yeterlik komitesi tarafından belirlenir. Sınav jürileri öğrencinin yazılı ve sözlü sınavlardaki başarı durumunu değerlendirerek öğrencinin başarılı veya başarısız olduğuna salt çoğunlukla karar verir. Bu karar, ana bilim/bilim dalı başkanlığı tarafından yeterlik sınavını izleyen üç iş günü içinde enstitüye tutanakla bildirilir. Doktora yeterlik sınavı jürisi, sınavı başaran bir öğrencinin, ders yükünü tamamlamış olsa bile, toplam ders kredisinin 1/3`ünü geçmemek şartıyla fazladan ders/dersler almasını isteyebilir. Doktora yeterlik komitesi tarafından onaylanan bu dersler, ana bilim/bilim dalı başkanlığı aracılığıyla ilgili enstitüye iletilir. Öğrenci aldığı dersleri başarmak zorundadır. Jüri önerisi ile alınan derslerin başarı notu AGNO`ya dâhil edilmez. Yeterlik sınavında başarısız olan öğrenci başarısız olduğu aşama için bir sonraki yarıyılda tekrar sınava alınır. Doktora yeterlik sınavının herhangi bir aşamasında sınava girmeyen öğrenciler bu hakkını kullanmış ve o aşamada başarısız olmuş sayılır. Anabilim Dalımızdaki Lisansüstü Eğitim mezuniyet koşulları GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ LİSANSÜSTÜ EĞİTİM-ÖĞRETİM VE SINAV YÖNETMELİĞİ ile belirlenmektedir. | |

Öğrencinin ilgili dersten başarılı sayılabilmesi için yüksek lisansta başarı harf notu en az CC; doktora ve lisans sonrası doktora programlarında başarı harf notu en az CB olmak zorundadır.
- Ham başarı puanı 25,00?ın altında olan öğrenci, doğrudan (FF) notu alarak o dersten başarısız sayılır. Ham başarı puanı 25,00 ve üstünde olan öğrencinin başarı notu; sınıfın genel durumu, aritmetik ortalamalar ve istatistiksel dağılım dikkate alınarak aşağıda katsayıları ve açılımı belirtilen harf notlarından biri ile değerlendirilir. Bu değerlendirmeden sonra, 25,00 ve üstünde olan ham başarı puanlarının harf notu karşılıklarının (FF) olması mümkündür.

- E: Eksik, (Dönem sonu/yılsonu sınav başarı harf notlarının kesinleşmesini takip eden üç hafta içerisinde düzeltilmeyen (E) notu (FF)?ye dönüştürülür.)
- AGNO, öğrencinin öğrenimi süresince bütün derslerdeki son notları esas alınarak hesaplanan ağırlıklı puanlarının toplamının, alınan derslerin kredi toplamına bölünmesi ile bulunur. Elde edilen AGNO, virgülden sonra iki hane olmak üzere gösterilir.
- Gerek ağırlıklı yarıyıl, gerek AGNO`nun hesaplanmasında, (AA)`dan (FF)`ye kadar verilen notlar esas alınır. (G) ve (D) notları (FF) notu işlemi görür.
- Bütün notlar, öğrencinin not izleme belgesine geçirilir.
- Mezuniyet için AGNO`nun; tezli/tezsiz yüksek lisans programlarında en az 2,50/4,00, yüksek lisans/lisans derecesiyle doktora programlarında en az 3,00/4,00 olması gerekir. Toplam kredisini tamamladığı halde mezuniyet şartını sağlayamamış olan öğrenciler yeni ders/dersler alarak bu şartı sağlarlar.
- Derse devam yükümlülüklerini ya da ders uygulamalarına ilişkin koşulları yerine getirmediği için dönem sonu sınavına girme hakkını elde edemeyen öğrenciler devamsız (D) sayılır.
Türk ve yabancı öğrenciler için genel kabul şartları programa başlamak için geçerlidir.

Further Info | (1) Students take the final exam and/or the final project in addition to the mid-term exams and/or mid-term studies. Examination calendar is published on the website of the related academic department. (2) The success of the students is evaluated with the methods and criteria which are stated on the course description forms that are declared at the beginning of semester. (3) Students are obliged to succeed in must courses. They can reselect a failed elective course or select another elective instead. (4) Mid-term exams and/or mid-term studies and final exam and/or the final project are evaluated over 100 raw points. Letter success grades over 100 raw points are given for seminars, thesis studies, term project courses and proficiency exams. To succeed in courses, the minimum letter success grades must be CC for master?s degree and CB for doctorate and integrated (post bachelor) doctorate. (5) A student whose raw point is under 25 fails the course by receiving an (FF) grade directly. The success grade of a student whose raw point is 25 or above is evaluated with the grades of which coefficients and definitions are stated below considering the general status of the class, average points and statistical range. After this evaluation, it is possible for the letter success grade equivalents of raw points that are 25 and above to be (FF). (6) Coefficients and letter success grades are evaluated as shown below: a) Coefficients Letter Success Grades 4.00 AA 3.50 BA 3.00 BB 2.50 CB 2.00 CC 1.50 DC 1.00 DD 0.50 FD 0.00 FF b) The letter grades other than the ones in the clause ?a? are: 1) D: Absent 2) G: Not attended 3) E: Incomplete (The E grades which are not corrected until after 3 weeks from the finalization of letter success grades are converted to FF) (7) The CumGPA is calculated via dividing the final grades of all of the courses throughout a student?s study period by the total number of credits. The obtained CumGPA is shown with two decimals after the point. (8) While calculating both the GPAs of semesters/years and the CumGPA, the letters grades from AA to FF are based on. G and D grades are processed as FF. (9) All grades are included in the transcripts of students. (10) For graduation, the CumGPA must be 2,50/4,00 minimum for master?s degree with or without thesis; 3,00/4,00 minimum for doctorate or integrated (post bachelor) doctorate programmes. Despite completing all the credits, students who cannot provide the graduation conditions take new courses to do so. (11) Students who do not provide the attendance conditions or other course requirements cannot take the final exam of the course and are regarded as absent (D). Doctoral qualifying exam (11 June 2019, item 31) (1) In order to enter the doctorate proficiency exam, the student must successfully complete all courses and his / her AGNO must be at least 3.00 / 4.00. Students whose AGNO is below 3.00 / 4.00 take the course / courses that their advisors deem appropriate until they meet this requirement. The time elapsed during the reception of these courses is deemed to have been used for the maximum period. (2) Doctoral qualifying exam is held twice a year on the dates specified in the academic calendar. (3) Students enrolled in the doctorate program must take the proficiency exam by the end of the fifth semester at the latest, and the students enrolled in the postgraduate doctorate program by the end of the seventh semester at the latest. (4) Doctorate proficiency exams are organized and conducted by a five-person doctoral qualification committee established for each academic year with the recommendation of the head of the relevant department / branch of science and the approval of the institute board of directors. The committee sets up exam juries to prepare, apply and evaluate exams in different fields. The exam jury consists of five faculty members, including the advisor, at least two of whom are from outside the higher education institution. The board of directors of the relevant institute decides whether the advisor has the right to vote or not. If the advisor does not have the right to vote, the jury consists of six faculty members. (5) Doctoral qualifying exam consists of written and oral exams. Students who are successful in the written exam are taken to the oral exam. The format, weights, success criteria and the calculation of the grades of the exams are determined by the doctoral proficiency committee. Exam juries evaluate the success of the student in written and oral exams and decide whether the student is successful or unsuccessful by absolute majority. This decision is reported to the institute within three working days following the proficiency exam by the head of the main science / science branch. (6) The jury of the doctoral qualifying exam may request a student who passes the exam to take extra courses / courses, even if they have completed the course load, provided that they do not exceed 1/3 of the total course credits. These courses, which are approved by the doctoral qualification committee, are forwarded to the relevant institute through the head of the main science / science branch. The student has to succeed in the lessons he / she takes. The success grade of the courses taken with the proposal of the jury is not included in the AGNO. (7) A student who fails the proficiency exam will be re-examined in the next semester for the stage in which he failed. (8) Students who do not take the exam at any stage of the doctoral qualifying exam are deemed to have used this right and failed at that stage.
