- Bitkisel materyalde kimyasal bileşik gruplarının ekstraksiyonu, izolasyonu, teşhis reaksiyonları ile miktar tayini yöntemleri hakkında bilgi edinir.
- Bitkilerde bulunan sekonder metabolitler (uçucu yağlar, flavonoitler, antranoitler, iridoitler, alkaloitler) hakkında bilgi edinir.

- To have a Bachelor’s Degree diploma in the fields determined by the Graduate School of Science,
- To have a minimum score of 55 in ALES (academic test for graduate studies) exam,
- To have a minimum score of 55 when 60% of ALES score and 40% of GPA (Grand Point Average) are combined,
- To be in the list of the eligable candidates (starting from the highest total score) corresponding to the number of available positions.
