Ölçme ve Değerlendirme
- Öğrencilere kayıtlı oldukları yarıyıl/yıl sonunda her ders için bir başarı harf notu verilir.
- Bu başarı harf notu, dersi veren öğretim elemanı tarafından takdir olunur.
- Başarı harf notunun takdirinde öğrencinin ara sınav, yarıyıl/yıl sonu sınavı, yarıyıl içi çalışmalarındaki başarısı ile ders ve uygulamalara devamı göz önünde bulundurulur. Bu harf notunun hesaplanması ilgili akademik birim kurulunun önerisi, akademik birimin ilgili kurulunun kararı ve Senatonun onayıyla belirlenir.
- Öğrencinin başarı notu 100 tam puan üzerinden belirlenir. Bu puana, ham başarı puanı denir.
- Ham başarı puanı 25,00`ın altında olan öğrenci, doğrudan (FF) notu alarak o dersten başarısız olur. Ham başarı puanı 25,00 ve üstünde olan öğrencinin başarı notu; sınıfın genel durumu, aritmetik ortalamalar ve istatistiksel dağılım dikkate alınarak Üniversite Eğitim Komisyonunun kararı ve Senato onayı ile hazırlanan yöntemlerden biri kullanılmak suretiyle, aşağıda katsayıları ve açılımı belirtilen harf notlarından biri ile değerlendirilir. Bu değerlendirmeden sonra, 25,00 ve üstünde olan ham başarı puanlarının harf notu karşılıklarının (FF) olması mümkündür.

- D: Devamsız, G: Girmedi, E: Eksik, (Yarıyıl/yıl sonu sınav başarı harf notlarının kesinleşmesini takip eden üç hafta içerisinde düzeltilmeyen (E) notu (FF)?ye dönüştürülür.) VZ: Dersten çekilme.
- Bir dersten (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB), (CC), (DC) ve (DD) notlarından birini alan öğrenci o dersi başarmış kabul edilir. Ancak mezun olabilmek için öğrencinin AGNO`sunun en az 2,00 olması gerekir.
- Mesleki ve sosyal yaşantısında Fransız dilini etkili bir biçimde kullanabilir,
- Fransızcayla ilgili bilgi kaynaklarını herhangi bir iletişim durumunda kullanabilmelerini sağlamak amacıyla dinleme, okuma, konuşma ve yazma becerilerini geliştirebilir,
- Fransız dilinin öğretimi/öğrenimiyle ilgili bilgilere ulaşma yollarını etkin bir biçimde kullanarak alan dili öğrenme ortamının gerektirdiği öğretim programları, yöntem, teknik ve stratejileri seçebilme, geliştirebilir ve kullanabilir,

- Bölümümüzden mezun olan öğrenciler, devlet okullarının yanında özel okullarda da Fransızca öğretmeni olarak çalışabildikleri gibi; tüm devlet kuruluşlarının Fransızca ile ilgili birimlerinde (Dışişleri Bakanlığı, Kültür Bakanlığı, TRT Fransızca Servisi, İçişleri Bakanlığı, Başbakanlık, Başbakanlık Arşivi Genel Müdürlüğü, Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri, Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü vb.) yazılı ve sözlü çevirmen veya uzman olarak çalışabilirler.

| Further Info | Measurement and Evaluation (1) For each course taken, students are given a letter success grade at the end of the semester/year. (2) This grade is given by the instructor of the course. (3) While evaluating the letter grade, a student?s success at classes, mid-terms/final examinations and attendance to classes are considered. The calculation of the letter grade is determined by the approval of the related academic unit and the Senate. (4) The success grade of a student is calculated over 100 points. This grade is called raw success point. (5) A student whose raw success point is under 25.00 is directly given an FF grade and the student fails the course. The success grade of a student whose raw success point is 25.00 and above is evaluated by using the methods determined by the board decisions of the Educational Commission of the University and the Senate; with the letter grades of which coefficients and explanations are mentioned below. After this evaluation, it is also possible that the raw success points 25.00 and above may become FF letter grades. (6) Coefficients and letter success grades are evaluated as shown below: a) Coefficients Letter Success Grades 4.00 AA 3.50 BA 3.00 BB 2.50 CB 2.00 CC 1.50 DC 1.00 DD 0.50 FD 0.00 FF b) The letter grades other than the ones in the clause ?a? are: 1) D: Did not Attend the Course 2) G: Did not Attend the Exam 3) E: Incomplete (The E grades which are not corrected until after 3 weeks from the finalization of letter success grades are converted to FF) 4) VZ: Withdrawn (7) A student whose letter success grade is (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB), (CC), (DC) or (DD) is considered as succeeded the course. However, the CumGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of the student must be at least 2,00 for graduation. - Using French efficiently in social and professional context. - Devlopping reading, listening, speaking and writing skills in French in order to be able to profit from French sources and to be able to communicate. - By effectively using the means of reaching information about the teaching / learning of the French language, selecting, developping and using curricula, methods, techniques and strategies required by the field language learning environment, - Having knowledge on measurement and evaluation related to the field, - Adapting, transferring and using necessary skills on linguistics, methodology and literature - Knowledge on French grammar, analysing and implementation skills; knowledge on his/her mother tongue and the target language-culture; intercultural skills - Capability to prepare projects, presentations and activities developing professional knowledge and skills and their application on the field - Efficient use of information and communication technologies in teaching and learning French, such as computer, Internet, digital course material - Choosing, developing and using appropriate course material for improvement of language skills of students - Capacity of preparing an appropriate learning environment by considering age, sex, language level and individual differences of the students, and acquisition of knowledge and skills on classroom management - Evaluation and interpretation of professional knowledge and skills by critical thinking - Adopting a positive attitude on LLP, and ability to prepare and organise international activities; mobility skills - Awareness on national and international developments on the field - Ability to use French at least on level B2 as stated on Common European Framework for Reference for Languages; communication skills with his/her colleagues - Awareness on social responsibilities, capability of preparing / contributing to social projects - Wide knowledge on Turkish education system; sensibility on national and universal values

There are regularly employed students graduated from our section working in various sectors and İnstitutions like state and private schools, TRT (Radio and Television Supreme Council) French Broadcast Service, Directorate General (DG) of Prime Ministry National Archives, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Arts and Culture, Prime Ministry, Turkish Armed Forces, Turkish Prime Ministrys General Directorate of Foundations, Embassies. Students can be also employed as translators and experts in these fields. Airline transportation companies, private companies, the tourism sector, private companies providing import-export services, hotel chains, the Publications and Information Directorate are the other fields to be employed. In addition, they can take part in various universities as academics.
