Has the ability to identify, define, formulate and solve problems related to the field. Knows the aviation rules and regulations determined by national and international aviation authorities, exhibits ethical attitudes and behaviours. Able to communicate effectively in their mother tongue or in a foreign language. Expresses solutions or ideas both in writing and orally regarding possible problems or issues in the aviation industry. Aware of the necessity of lifelong learning; can access information, follows latest developments in science and technology, and constantly upgrades themselves. Be aware of entrepreneurship and innovation; has the knowledge about sustainable development. Knows the significance of human factor and safety in aviation, detects dangerous situations and reports when necessary. Knows the electricity generation-conversion techniques used in aircraft and recognizes the machines in use and maintains them when necessary. Acknowledges the avionics systems, knows their working principles, purpose of use, equipment and layout plan in the cockpit. Knows the necessary software and programs, makes technical drawings, apprehends and applies diagrams.

Letter grades are determined by taking into account the summation of 40% of the students mid-term performance and 60% of the final/make-up exam grade. Students who have completed all their courses in accordance with the provisions of the relevant regulation, with a minimum of 240 ECTS and a GPA of 2.00 and above, and are successful in the internship, are entitled to receive a bachelors degree.

University general admission requirements must be met, such as being a high school graduate or an equivalent school graduate and having the right to enroll according to the exam results determined by OSYM. The candidate who is successful in the relevant exams and is entitled to enrollment registers within the period announced by the university. Otherwise, he/she loses the right to register. The special conditions for application indicated in the Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide are as follows; 1) Not having any Criminal Records or Criminal Records Archives that would prevent him/her from getting an airport entrance card. 2) Obtaining a committee report provided that it has been obtained from a full-fledged hospital within the last six months, indicating that no health problem (color blindness, hearing loss/deficiency, vision loss/deficiency, etc.) may prevent him/her from performing his/her profession or the task assigned in the profession.

Graduates can work in organizations such as Turkish Airlines, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, General Directorate of State Airports Authority, Air Supply and Maintenance Centers, TUSAŞ Engine Industries, Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. to engage in aircraft avionics maintenance and production activities. In order to work as a B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician, they must be successful in the relevant module exams.
