To be able to shape the interior design process in the direction of theoretical and practical knowledge produced in the field of architecture and art. To enable the student to take the initiative; designing independently and taking responsibility of her/his project. To be able to carry out the design and application process in an interdisciplinary understanding with different fields that can work together with the interior design. To master the methods of representation in interior design and professional terminology for comfortable and correct professional communication skills in professional life. To be able to produce contemporary discourse and to think critically by using the knowledge in the literature of interior design. To educate designers who are aware of the protection of the natural environment and cultural heritage and who are aware of their professional ethics. Having the ability to access to knowledge, discussions and developments in the field of interior design and master the research methods. To have the ability to monitor the developments in science and technology related to the interior design field and to constantly renew him/herself in the direction of these developments. Project and site management and practices, employees  health, environmental and occupational safety awareness, professional standards and business law. To be able to identify the problems and needs in the interior spaces that we live in, and to develop the ability to create and implement design proposals within the framework of user needs. To be able to conceive interior design with, accurate and innovative material selection, detail solutions and application practices.

Each student must register for classes at the beginning of the period and is required to be continued at least %80 of applications, %70 of courses ın order to enter the final exam. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution to success grade of 60% the final exam, 40% the mid-term exam in total (as the midterm grade homework, projects, laboratory exams, the scores obtained from measuring tools such as quizzes, etc. can be evaluated). All exams are evaluated over 100 points. At least 50 points to take the final exam, there is an obligation to provide a 50 average. AA, BA, BB, CB and CC students with one of the notes are considered successful in that course. DC and DD are conditional success. FD and FF characters received failing grades and the number of courses are opened again in the first period. Taken all the compulsory and elective courses and should be achieved. Students are placed in this program with the central examination system within the framework of the regulations determined by the Higher Education Council (YÖK). Students entering the examination can apply to the Interior Architecture Department with MF-4 point type. Exchange students are accepted within the framework of bilateral agreements (Erasmus). Admission of students to undergraduate courses is made by decisions of the University Senate Board.

Interior Design Department Graduates can work as designers, implementers and controllers in project and construction units of the Public and Private Sector (Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Transport, Municipalities, Building Inspection Institutions, Banks, etc.). By setting up their own work place as a freelance interior architect, they can carry out public and private sector projects and projects in which they enter the national-international competitions. They can take part in magazines published in exhibition organizations and interior architecture. They can work as academicians at universities.
