- İklimlendirme ve soğutma ile ilgili temel kavravramları anlamak bu sistemlerde kullanılan ana ve yardımcı elemanları tanımak ve fonksiyonlarını açıklamak.İklimlendirme ve soğutma uygulamalarında kullanılan alet ve cihazları tanımak ve bu sistemlerin iş güvenliği kuralları çerçevesinde kurulumu için gereken el becerisini kazanmak ( kaynak ,boru kesme,bükme, havşa açma vb işlemleri)İş kazalarında ilk müdahele için gereken ilk yardım bilgisine sahip olmakik.
- limlendirme ve soğutma sistemleriyle ilgili projeleri okumak, hem el ile hem de bilgisayar destekli olarak proje çizmekİklimlendirme ve soğutma sistemlerinde kullanılan elektrik kumanda ve otomatik kontrol elemanlarını ve devrelerini tanımak ve bağlantılarını yapmak.
- İklimlendirme , soğutma ve ısıtma sistem seçimine esas olacak şekilde ısı yüklerini ve cihaz kapasitelerini hesaplamak ve uygun kapasitede cihazı seçmek.
- Havalandırma ve kanallı iklimlendirme sistemleri için kanal sistemini boyutlandırmak ve montajını yapmak.İklimlendirme ve soğutma sistemlerinin(ev tipive ticari soğutucular,soğuk depolar,bireysel, ve merkezi merkezi iklimlendirme sistemlerinin vb.) montajını yapmak, ilgili arızaları teşhis ve tamir etmek ve önleyici bakımlarını yapmak.
- Mesleği ile ilgili konular hakkında bilimsel araştırma hazırlama,sunma ve etkinlikte bulunma yeteneği kazanmak.
- Mesleğiyle ilgili konular hakkında bilimsel araştırma hazırlama, sunma ve etkinlikte bulunma yeteneğini kazanmak.
- Mesleki ve etik sorumluluğu kavramak ve çeşitli disiplinlerden oluşan bir ekipte çalışmak ve / veya liderlik yapabilmek.
- Yazılı ve sözlü iletişimde Türk dilini etkin kullanabilmek, mesleği ile ilgili uluslararası gelişmeleri takip etmek ve iletişim kurabilmek açısından yabancı dil bilgisine sahip olmak.

Knows the tools and devices used in air conditioning and cooling applications and has the manual skills required for the installation of these systems within the framework of occupational safety rules (welding, pipe cutting, bending, countersinking etc.) Has the first aid knowledge required for the first intervention in work accidents. Reading projects related to air conditioning and cooling systems, drawing projects both manually and with computer support. Recognizes and makes connections of electrical control and automatic control elements and circuits used in air conditioning and cooling systems. Calculates the heat loads and device capacities as a basis for air conditioning, cooling and heating system selection and selects the device with the appropriate capacity. Sizes and assembles the duct system for ventilation and ducted air conditioning systems. Installs air conditioning and cooling systems (domestic and commercial coolers, cold storages, individual and central air conditioning systems, etc.), diagnoses and repairs related malfunctions and performs preventive maintenance. Prepares, presents and carries out scientific research on issues related to the profession. Understands professional and ethical responsibility and works and/or leads a team of various disciplines. Uses Turkish language effective in written and oral communication; speaks a foreign languages to monitor the international developments and communicate.
