- İktisat alanındaki güncel ve ileri düzeydeki bilgileri özgün düşünce ve araştırma ile uzmanlık düzeyinde geliştirebilme, derinleştirebilme ve bilime yenilik getirecek özgün tanımlara ulaşabilmektedir.
- Kamu ve özel sektörün ihtiyaç duyduğu uzman ve araştırmacılarda olması gereken ileri düzeyde iktisat teorisi, iktisat politikası ve uluslar arası iktisat bilgisini değerlendirebilme ve kullanabilmektedir.

| Further Info | Each graduate student should register to courses in the beginning of a period and should have attended to at least %70 of the classes. Students enter at least 1 final exam for each course. All exams are evaluated on the 100 points basis.It is obligatory to acquire 75 points to be deemed succesful in a course. A student achieves success from a course if he/she got any of the grade points AA, BA, BB, CB or CC.To take a Doctoral degree, properly accomplishing the lesson, passing the doctoral qualification examination and doctorate thesis must be successfully submitted and approved by a jury. | |

For the department of Economics, Candidates must take at least 55 points from ALES. - Being able to improve and broaden the advanced level of contemporary knowledge in the field of economics to an expert level through a unique vision and research practice and to come up with peculiar definitions that will break new grounds in science.
- Being able to use and evaluate the expert level knowledge on economic theory, political economy and international economics that are required in experts and researchers who are much needed by the public and private sectors.
