| Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri | 21. yüzyıl başında küreselleşme süreci, hızlanan teknolojik ilerleme ve artan uluslararası rekabet ile birlikte ekonomik sorunları kavramanın ve çözmenin önemi giderek artıyor. Ekonomi biliminin ve ekonomistlerin inceleme ve görev alanı genişliyor. Ekonomi Bölümü'nün amacı öğrencilere öncelikle temel ekonomi bilgilerini ve analiz yöntemlerini öğretmek, öğrencilerin araştırma, çözümleme, değerlendirme yeteneklerini geliştirmektir. Bu program bir yandan matematik, istatistik, ekonometri alanlarında yeterli bir altyapı sunarken, öte yandan seçimlik derslerde işletme, siyaset bilimi, sosyoloji, tarih gibi alanların desteğini sağlamaktadır. | |

| Giriş Şartı | Bölüme kayıt yaptırmak isteyen öğrenci, üniversitenin akademik ve yasal mevzuatı çerçevesinde ÖSYM tarafından belirlenen süreçleri tamamlamak / sınavları başarmış olmak zorundadır. Yurtiçi veya dışında eşdeğer programda öğrenimine başlamış bir öğrenci yatay geçiş için başvuru yapabilir. Öğrencilerin kabulü dönem başlamadan, her bir öğrencinin şartları ve başvuru yaptığı derece dikkate alınarak incelenir ve özel olarak değerlendirilir. Üniversite tarafından onaylanmış ve bir anlaşma ile sınırları belirlenmiş öğrenci değişim programları kapsamında yurtdışından gelen öğrenciler bölümde İngilizce olarak verilen dersleri alabilirler. Öğrenci Türkçe dil bilgisi yeterliliğine sahipse Ders Planında belirtilen herhangi bir Türkçe derse kayıt yaptırabilir. | |

- İktisat biliminin temel alanlarında teorik bilgilere sahip olma ve analiz yapabilme.
- İktisat biliminin uygulamalı alanında temel bilgilere sahip olma, gerekli bilgisayar programlarını kullanabilme ve analiz yapabilme.

| Further Info | In the light of accelerating technological change, globalization and increasing international competition, comprehending economic phenomena and overcoming economic problems become more and more important. The role of economics and economists is widening and penetrating new areas of social relations. The goal of the Department of Economics is to promote a systematic understanding of the economic problems of our time and to develop the research skills of the students. Particular emphasis is placed on equipping students with skills in the use of mathematical and statistical tools as well as basic theories. Our target, however, is at the same time to ensure that our students acquire all the personal attributes demanded by the new global economy. | |

| Access Requirements | Students who would like to enroll in the department, within the framework of academic and legal regulations of the university, must complete/pass all processes/exams set by OSYM. Students, who are studying in an equivalent program at home or abroad, can apply for undergraduate transfer. Every student’s conditions and degree he/she applied are taken into consideration, examined and evaluated specifically. Please see Institution’s Introduction Catalogue for more information. Within the student exchange programs which are approved by the university and qualified by an agreement, foreign students can take classes given in English. - To understand and to be able to use basic knowledge in economic-social and financial issues, to assess and interpret them, to analyze economic, social and financial developments, to have opinions and represent them in economic issues, to acquire the ability to create solution to various economic problems.
