• The student understands, evaluates and interprets the knowledge and subjects related to Basic Islamic Science.
• The student understands, evaluates and interprets the knowledge and subjects related to Turkish-Islamic history and arts.
• The student gets the ability to evaluate and interpret the knowledge about philosophy and theology.
• The student becomes participates in scientific, social, cultural national/international activities in need of society for theology and becomes skilful at evaluating, improving and transmitting the knowledge he gets.

For each course assessment and grading is described in Syllabus in details. Grades are assessed through relative assessment system. Assessment is done according to the Education and Examination Regulation of Ordu University and accomplishment is evaluated with activity such as term and final examinations and homeworks.

The students who do well in the exam which by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) among the students who graduate from high schools and their equivalents are accepted at Ordu University Faculty of Theology. For the students who graduate a foreign country’s secondary school, their diploma equivalency have to be approved by Ministery of National Education.

Graduates take professional role in establishment of many public and private sector: The teacher at official and private institutions and imam, preacher (vaiz) and mufti at The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
