Key Learning Outcomes;

Graduates of the programs will be able to;

1. Until reaching the patient with intravenous and intraosseous intervention, they can use Emergency Medicines and liquids determined by the Ministry.
2. Apply basic and advanced airway systems.
3. Make trauma stabilization.
4. Provide patient transportation by using appropriate transport techniques.
5. Performs evaluation of ECG and rhythm, monitorization, defibrillation by evaluating cardiovascular system
6. Help with birth in case of emergency birth.
7. Prepare the ambulance for technical, medical equipment and materials.

Supplementary Learning Outcomes;

Graduates of the programs will be able to;

1. İmprove the quality of their professional practices by using verbal and nonverbal communication knowledge and skills.
2. Apply the legal regulations and ethical principles related to their professional practices
3. Evaluate the risk of occupational disease and injury and take necessary measures.
4. Use evidence-based applications by following the developments in the field continuously.
5. Apply psychological first aid in case of traumatic experience
6. Know the situations in which teamwork is required and can work as a team if necessary.
7. Know the methods of health protection and promotion and to be able to apply.

The students who have successfully graduated from the First and Emergency Assistance Program are given the title of "Emergency Medical Technician". In emergency units and ambulances in official or private health institutions, under the supervision of a specialist or with the knowledge of 112 emergency command centers, they can practice their profession. Those who have successfully completed the bilir First and Emergency Aid et program can continue their education by passing the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) carried out by ÖSYM with the transition to the nursing and nursing and health services programs of various universities.

Qualification is valid indefinitely.
