- Öğrencilerin genel İngilizce düzeyleri yüksek olacaktır.
- Öğrenciler Yüksek Lisans düzeyinde öğrendikleri bilgi ve beceriler konusunda ileri düzeyde uzmanlaşacaklardır. Çalıştıkları bilimsel alana özgü etik bilince sahip olmanın yanısıra, inceledikleri konuların politik alana nasıl akatarılabileceğini öğrenecekler ve kontrol mekanizmalarının en üst düzeydeki standartlarda nasıl kullanılacağını öğreneceklerdir.
- Öğrenciler kendilerini hayal güçlerini kullanarak ifade edebilecekler, bilgilerini daha da derinleştirme konusunda hassasiyet kazanacaklardır.
- Öğrenciler edebi metinlere sözel olarak tepki verebilecek ve metinleri tartışabileceklerdir.
- Öğrenciler araştırma alanlarıyla ilgili olan etik konularda aktif rol almayı öğrenecekler, kültürel mirasla ilgili konularda sorumluluk sahibi olacaklardır.

- Sosyal Bilimler, Filoloji, Çeviri Bilim ve İngilizce Öğretmenliği alanlarından birinde tezli yüksek lisans yapmış olmak.
- Yüksek lisans mezuniyet not ortalamasının 4 üzerinden en az 3 olması (100 üzerinden muadili)
- İngilizce dilinden YDS' den en az 80 puan almak (veya üniversite tarafından kabul edilen bir sınavdan eşdeğer puan almak)
- Ales'ten sayısal, sözel, ya da eşit ağırlık alanlarından herhangi birinden en az 60 puan almak
