Further Info | Profile of the Programme: The master's program without a thesis consists of at least 10 courses and a term project, provided that no less than thirty credits and 60 ECTS credits are earned.
The end of term grade is given to the student by the instructor with regards to class attendance, work within the semester, midterms, finals, and/or the seminar project. To successfully pass, students must get a minimum grade of CC. If they fail a course, students are required to retake it within the allowed time period or must otherwise take lessons considered equivalent by the head of the department. It is possible to retake a course or take an equivalent one to raise one's grade. The head of the department must inform the rlevant institute. Regardless of the previous grade, only the latest grade is considered valid. Profile of the Programme:
The master's program without a thesis consists of at least 10 courses and a term project, provided that no less than thirty credits and 60 ECTS credits are earned.
Assessment and Grading:
- Grading criteria are announced at the start of the term by the relevant instructors at the start of the term. Students are notified about the level of their success during the semester.
- Every course has a midterm examination such as a written exam, a project, an oral presentation or some homework. The dates for these examinations are announced in the first month of term by the instructor via the internet page of the course.
- At least one end of term examination is done for every course.
- For students who could not complete the final examination a make-up is prepared by the course instructor, provided that the instructor deems the student excusible with good reason from the original examination.
- If necessary, examinations may take place on Saturdays or Sundays.
- In addition to being given on paper to all students at any time, exams may be given via electronic means, with questions drawn from a secure question bank and different questions may be given to different students at different times.
