100 is the full point in the assessment of exams. At the beginning of each term, the course instructor makes an announcement concerning the course contents, sources, office hours and the evaluation criteria. A student is required to have a minimum of 60/100 to pass the course. In order to be admitted to the program, Turkish and foreign students are expected to provide the requirements determined by the Council of Higher Education.

The graduates of Department of English Language Teaching can teach English at private and state schools at the elementary secondary, and high school level. They also have the chance to teach at universities as instructors. They can also work as translators at private institutions.
