Further Info | (1) In a semester, at least one midterm and one final exam are given. Instructor can evaluate homeworks, projects, laboratory or similar activity as a midterm. Final exam is given as a written exam. It can also be given as an oral or oral-written exam, subject to the board decision of the related faculty. All exam results and other work in the semester are accounted for the final grade of the semester. (2) For the calculation of the final grade, weight of the midterm exam cannot be lower than 40% and higher than 60%. Weights of the in-semester activities and final exam on the final grade are announced to the students at the beginning of the semester. Students who complete the all courses of the registered program under regulations successfully, obtain 2.00 GPA or higher, complete the required 240 ECTS, the cultural development seminars and 60-day training requirements qualify for the diploma of the program. Further, students who could not complete the undergraduate program, but passed the all required and elective courses in the curriculum and passed the courses listed on the (ı) clause of the first paragraph of the fifth article of the Law 2547 and with a GPA of 2.00 at the end of the fourth semester earn the associate degree under the related legislation and Higher Education Council rulings. | |
