Assessment of each course is carried out by means of assessment and evaluation tools such as homework, project, quiz which are prepared according to the course, the midterm exam (s), the final exam and the course. Applied exam, assessment and evaluation methods are prepared by the instructor for each course. Student acceptance in this program is done with the central examination system called LYS, University Placement Examination which is administered by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Students are informed about the program preferences they want to study and then placed by ÖSYM in related programs according to the score they get from this exam. Foreign students are accepted with the results of this internationally validated examination. Acceptance of exchange students is done within the framework of bilateral agreements (Erasmus or General Academic Protocol) signed between Yıldırım Beyazıt University and partner university. Guest students can register to the courses given in this program if they approve the relevant academic unit. Because the language of instruction at our university is English in all programs, it is necessary for students to be able to enroll in these courses and to certify English Language Proficiency at the same time.

Civil Engineers have a wide range of business opportunities, including public institutions and private sector. Just as it is in our country, the world construction sector also offers civil engineers the opportunity to work. Civil Engineers can work in public institutions, domestic and foreign private institutions; construction project, construction, supervision, development of water resources, hydroulic structures, soil applications, transportation projects and all other civil engineering projects in national or international level. Civil Engineers are the primary technical human resources for the construction of sustainable and resilient sub/superstructures considering all disaster risks, especially the earthquakes.
