• Ability to acquire the basic scientific (both natural and social) and engineering knowledge in the area of Civil Engineering.Ability to define complex engineering problems of interest to Civil Engineering; collect and analyze data; analyze problems and develop models and implement solutions.
• Ability to use modern techniques in designing Civil Engineering systems, considering peoples needs, economy, sustainability, ethics, and social, political and environmental conditions.
• Ability to choose and use information technologies to solve Civil Engineering problems.
• Ability to design and conduct experiments; as well as to collect, analyze and interpret data in examining engineering problems.
• Ability to effectively participate in single and multi-disciplinary teamwork when working on engineering problems.
• Ability to communicate both in Turkish and English in written and oral forms.

At least one general examination is held every semester for each course according to the academic qualification determined for the graduate courses. Failed students are entitled to an additional general examination. In order to be successful in the course exams, students must take at least 70 points out of 100 full points. The seminar course is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful.In order to graduate from the master degree program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program (60 ECTS credits) and complete the seminar and thesis work successfully.

1- Applicants must have a bachelors degree in order to apply for this program and have at least 65 standard full points in the type of the program applied by the ALES centered by ÖSYM or 65 ALES points in the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) they must have a required point from the exam.2- Candidates submit the ALES certificates, the undergraduate diplomas, the license transcripts and other documents required by the province to the institute directorate by the deadline stated in the province by filling the online or printed forms prepared by the institute. Registration of candidates is conducted and conducted by the institute directorate.3- a) In case of written exam, 60% of the ALES score, 20% of the graduate weighted graduation average, and 20% of the total score of the science examination or arts program with a score of at least 50 from written or applied arts and culture examination the students achievement score is determined. Candidates who get a score of at least 60 out of 100 with this method are ranked starting from the highest point and taken as a student within the quota.b) In case of not taking a written science examination, the achievement score of the student is determined by taking 60% of the ALES score and 40% of the graduate weighted average. Candidates who score at least 60 out of 100 with this method are sorted starting from the highest point and taken in the quota.

Graduates of this master program are expected to build their career on consulting or research and development in civil engineering field. They can work either in private or public companies in the field of Civil Engineering or they can continue to their career in academia.
