• To use the data obtained in building sector, comment on the outcome that was reached and to gain the ability to draw
• Theoretical knowledge of the road infrastructure and superstructure in road constructions
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in the other engineering(electrical, mechanical) Technologies
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication in TurkishManual and Software aided computation of estimated costs of constructions, and handling the paperwork concerning the progress payments

• Knowledge of the laws and regulations on construction,insurance and taxation, and of the health instutions, and the ability to handle necessary paperwork

• Ability to test construction materials with te application of technical knowledge, and the use of tools and equipment, compile reports and evalute the results
• Ability to select and use modern techniques and equipment, and the ability to use information technology effectivelty
• Ability to recognize, survey and and evaluate the topography of the construction site, skill in the use of measurement equipment to determine directions and heights for the roads

• Students will take a minimum of one midterm examination. In addition to midterms, they will be assigned projects and homeworks whose deadlines will be specified at the beginning of the semester.
• At the end of each semester, the students are required to take a final examination.
• The course content, the requirements (midterm, project, assignment and final examination) and their contribution to the final grade is specified on the website.
• Student regulations and the final examination dates are determined by the university and final examinations take place as announced.
• The students are graded according to their midterm, project, assignment and final examination results.
• The passing grade at Gaziosmanpaşa University is 60 out of 100.
• However, the grade of the final examination or the retake should be a minimum of 50. Exams are evaluated on a scale of 100.
• The final grade of a course is the sum total of %40 of the midterm grade and %60 of the final or the retake examination grades.
• As a result of the calculation, if the value after the decimal is less than five, the grade is finalized by lowering it to the decimal value; if more than five, upgrading it to the next decimal value.
• TIn order to graduate from the Construction Technology program, it is necessary to complete all summer courses with 120 ECTS credits in the course plan, to have at least 60 general grade average over 100, and to complete the summer internship in order to gain proficiency in this area.

Those who have successfully completed their secondary education are eligible.

The students earn their academic degree on condition of successfully completing the required courses and compulsory internship education as contained in the Department curriculum. Following the registration at the University, the students embark on their first year of study. However, the students may also volunteer to enrol in a one-year Foreign Language Preparatory Course preceding their first year of study at the Department.
