• Educate the republican individuals who hold the view of the Turkish independence, Due to Atatürk's principles and revolutions, patriotic.
• To know the structure and rules of the Turkish language, know Turkish language correctly and effectively use it.
• General or vocational secondary education based on efficiencies gained and lessons on the level of secondary education - the application is supported by tools and equipment to have a field of knowledge and skills and demonstrate comprehension of basic concepts in that field.
• Show usability of Theoretical knowledge to practical applications in the field of construction, hand and intellectual skills. Indicate the comprehension of the required information in project design.
• Be able to clearly describe the construction designs and applications related to the field to colleagues, superiors and the people and groups having teamwork ability.
• To show to apply knowledge in the field of construction.
• To show to determine problems related to unexpected situations and gained the ability to search for a solution in the construction-related studies in Construction site.
• Objectively evaluate and control the performance of employees under the responsibility.
• To have enough foreign language skills in the field.
• With the knowledge of basic computer use, use the internet technology, graphics, and project management software.
• To have knowledge and awareness for the field about social responsibility, ethical values and social security rights.
• To have knowledge and awareness for the field about occupational safety, occupational health and environmental protection.
• In case of emergency, to make first aid to the patient / wounded and protect the environment.
• Has the professional ethics awareness about the legal implications of technological applications.

<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;">The admissions of students to the programs are made according to the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM &ndash; University entrance exam) within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (HEC). After students inform the Student Selection and Placement Center about what programs they want to study at, students are placed in the related programs according to their scores they got from the exam. Graduates of related vocational high schools can enroll in the department within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (HEC).<br /> <br /> Foreign students are admitted to the related programs with the scores of internationally acceptable exams such as SAT, ACT or are admitted to the related programs with their high school graduation grades (Undergraduate and Graduate Programs for Foreign Students Admission Guidelines).<br /> <br /> The admission of students of General Academic Exchange Protocol to the related programs are done within the framework of the bilateral agreements (ERASMUS, FARABI, etc) signed between Duzce University and the partner universities. Guest students may enroll into the courses in this program, if the related academic unit approves. Sufficient language knowledge is required to monitor the program.</span>
