• The aim of the Department of Business Administration is to provide an education to train professionals and academicians who are equipped with the knowledge and skills to manage global companies and institutions by creating brands, as well as the skills to produce solutions to the problems of society. Among the skills and abilities that we aim to develop in our graduates are to look out for the benefit of society, to be responsible, to be solution-oriented, to value research and knowledge.

"(1) A letter grading system is used to indicate the degree of success of students in the course. The letters used for this purpose, their weight coefficients and meanings are shown below:

b) Apart from letter grades, the meanings of the temporary NP and permanent CW, E, LA, R, S, T, U, W marks in the transcript are also shown below:

1) CW: Indicates that the student has canceled his/her registration during the semester,

2) E: Indicates the courses that have been passed with the exemption exam. It is not included in the grade point average,

3) LA: Indicates that the student is considered to be on leave during the semester,

4) NP: Indicates that the student did not take the final exam. Those who are compensated within two weeks from the end of the final exam process are converted to a success grade, those who are not converted to FF, and a non-credit course to U,

5) R: Indicates repeated lessons,

6) Q: Indicates success in courses that are not included in the grade point average,

7) U: Indicates failure in courses that are not included in the grade point average,

8) W: Indicates that the student has withdrawn from the course. It doesn't count toward the GPA.".

Calculation of Grade Point Averages and Student Success Status

Ibn Haldun University Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations Article 29:

"(1) At the end of each semester, the success of the students is monitored with the YNO and GPA values.

(2) The success credit received by a student from a course is obtained by multiplying the ECTS credit value of that course by the final grade coefficient. In calculating the grade point averages, the method of dividing the sum of the success grades of the relevant courses multiplied by the course ECTS credits by the total ECTS credits of the relevant courses is used.

(3) In courses that are repeated due to failure or taken to increase the grade, the final grade is valid regardless of the previous grade. However, previous grades are also shown in the grade document".

To oversee the quality of higher education programs;

- YÖK is responsible for the planning, organization, management and supervision of education and training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.

- “University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports” of higher education institutions are published every year within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK. The reports prepared according to these reports, including quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

- Every year, YÖK publishes the “Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report”, which includes academic, administrative and financial data on foundation higher education institutions. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

Quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is ensured according to the “Procedures and Principles for Ensuring Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs”:

1. Creation and Approval of Curricula:

1.1. YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.2. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

1.3. The curricula of the National Core Curricula are adopted by the relevant Council of Deans and implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of the Council of Higher Education.

2. Assessment and Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes of each undergraduate program is carried out according to the education and training and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs, if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions; receive an undergraduate diploma.

4. Self-Assessment-External Evaluation: In the context of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter their “Institutional Internal Evaluation Reports” for the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the “Institutional Feedback Report” prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, YÖKAK

Accreditation decisions issued by authorized or recognized accreditation bodies also indicate that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the legislation.

Accredited by FIBAA. The start date is 06.03.2024 and the end date is 05.03.2029.

1. To be graduated from secondary education institutions or secondary education institutions of foreign countries whose equivalence is approved by the Ministry of National Education and to meet the admission requirements of higher education institutions to undergraduate programs.

2. To be placed in the relevant undergraduate program of the higher education institution as a result of the central exam conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), the procedures and principles of which are determined by the Council of Higher Education.

3. To have received sufficient points as a result of the central exam held by OSYM for the programs of higher education institutions that accept students with a special talent exam, the procedures and principles of which are determined by the Council of Higher Education, and to have passed the special talent exam.

4. As a result of the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by OSYM, the procedures and principles of which are determined by the Council of Higher Education, to be placed in undergraduate programs that are the continuation of the fields they have completed in higher education institutions for associate degree graduates.

Our graduates who graduate from the Business Administration Undergraduate Program, who are creative, prone to teamwork, sensitive to the environment, aware of their responsibilities, equipped with leadership skills and have the competence to cope with all problems, can work in the private and public sectors. In addition, our graduates can work as researchers and academicians in educational and research institutions.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration Program will have a broad skill set suitable for entry-level positions in a variety of industries. As they gain experience and develop their skills, they may move into more senior management positions within organizations or take on specialized roles in areas such as marketing, finance, operations, or human resources in a variety of industries.
