Our department aims to graduate self-confident "Business Managers" who are equipped with superior knowledge and skills, can think analytically, have strong social skills, have good foreign language skills, and can use new information and communication technologies effectively and competently. Our undergraduate education program has been prepared within the framework of modern business management, taking into account the competitive conditions and commercial life of our country, and prioritizes training managers who can compete at an international level.

Learning takes place in the form of formal, open or distance education. In addition, practical training is provided in laboratories and workshops within higher education institutions or as internships or workplace training in industry, health institutions and workplaces. Optional internships are provided in relevant public and private institutions.

In order to pass a course at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, the end-of-term/end-of-year grade must be at least 60 out of 100. Exams are evaluated out of a full grade of 100. The end-of-term/end-of-year grade of a course is the sum of 30% of the arithmetic average of the midterm exam or midterm exams and 70% of the grade received in the midterm/end-of-year exam or make-up exam. However, the end-of-term/end-of-year grade of a course can also be calculated as 30% to 50% of the arithmetic average of the midterm exam or midterm exams, 70% to 50% of the grade received in the midterm/end-of-year or make-up exam, with the condition that the relevant faculty/college board decides and announces at the beginning of the semester, and the sum of the ratios will be 100%. As a result of the calculation, if the first number after the decimal point is less than five, it is increased to the next lower integer, and if it is five or greater than five, it is increased to the next higher integer and finalized.

In addition, in order to ensure that the students receiving education receive an education in accordance with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System), which is applied in European Union countries, applications in this direction have been initiated in the department. In this way, the ECTS credit system has been adopted and the time allocated by the students to the relevant subject for each course outside of class time is tried to be measured. At the end of all these, the success status of the students through mid-term and final evaluation systems (mid-term and final exams, quizzes, homework, practice, presentation, etc.) are entered into the system by the faculty members and announced on the computer environment via the internet. In the final evaluation, the success levels of all students taking the course in question are grouped by the relative evaluation system and reflected in their transcripts according to the letter grades below. The grades that the students have received in the courses are grouped according to the relative evaluation while entering the system and published by the system according to the letter equivalents specified in the table below.

The grading system used to evaluate students' success is expressed with the following degrees and letters:

At the end of the education period, which is 4 years in total, students who have successfully completed all the required courses and completed their total credits are given a bachelor's degree. Each student in the Department of Business Administration must take at least 240 ECTS credits in order to complete the program and meet the necessary conditions for graduation. In order to be considered successful in a course, the success grade must be at least CC. However, students with a general grade point average (GPA) of CB (2.50) and above are also considered successful with a DD success grade and the success grade is recorded on the transcript as DB with a coefficient of 1.50.

To oversee the quality of higher education programs;

- YÖK is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising education and training and other activities in higher education institutions.

- "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions prepared within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK are published every year. The reports prepared according to these reports, including quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

- "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report" containing academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions is published annually by CoHE. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

Quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is ensured according to the "Procedures and Principles for Ensuring Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Creation and Approval of Curricula: YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.1. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

1.2. The curricula of the National Core Curricula are adopted by the relevant Council of Deans and implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of the Council of Higher Education.

2. Assessment and Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes of each undergraduate program is carried out according to the teaching and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs, if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions; receive a bachelor's diploma.

4. Self-Assessment-External Evaluation: Higher education institutions, in the context of continuous monitoring, enter the "Institutional Internal Evaluation Reports" of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the "Institutional Feedback Report" prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions issued by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also indicate that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the legislation.

Graduating from Secondary Education and getting enough points from the University Entrance Examination conducted by the Measuring, Selection and Placement Center Selection and Placement Center within the quota.

Graduates of the department work as experts, researchers, auditors and managers in private sector companies and public institutions and organizations in the fields of management and organization, marketing, production, human resources, finance, accounting, auditing, etc. Candidates who successfully complete their undergraduate education can study in postgraduate (master's) programs, if they receive a passing score from the ALES exam and have sufficient English language skills (doctorate). In addition to these, they can also become entrepreneurs by establishing their own businesses.
