- Lisans düzeyi yeterliliklerine dayalı olarak, temel olasılık ve istatistik kuramları ve uygulamalarına ilişkin bilgilerini uzmanlık düzeyinde geliştirmek.
- Teorik İstatistik ve uygulamalı istatistik alanlarında edindiği ileri düzeydeki kuramsal ve uygulamalı bilgileri kullanabilmek.
- Çalışma alanındaki sorunları tanımlayabilmek, analiz edebilmek ve bilimsel yöntemlere dayalı çözüm üretebilmek.
