In order to obtain the PhD in Chemistry degree, students must accumulate minumum of 120 ECTS credits from all of the theoretical courses, which should be passed with at least 76 point over 100. Upon completing the courses succesfully, students are also subjected to both written and oral examinations in front of a jury. This is called a doctorate profiency exam and students are required to obtain a pass grade of at least 75 over 100. In addition, a thesis with 120 ECTS must be prepared and defended in front of jury.To complete the program, it is mandatory to pass 120 ECTS courses with at least 76 over 100, and prepare a 120 ECTS doctorate thesis and defend it in front of a jury.

To develop the level of expertise, to deepen and to reach the original definition for the biring innovation of his/her field with based on Master of Science Qualification in Chemistry studied in the current and advanced information on the field/topic of original thought and/ or research To understand the interdisciplinary interaction that is associated the field/topic; to reach the origanal result for analysis, synthesis and evaluation of new and complex ideas using the information specialist To evaluate and use new information of her/his topic with a systematic approach To make critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation of new and complex ideas To have gained high-level skills to use the research methods related to her/his field/topic To be able to contribute to the improvement in field that bring innovation to the field/topic a new idea, method, design and/or develop applications to known idea, method and deign appliying a different area with independently performing an origanal study To defend her/his origanal opinion in the discussion of issues in the field with skilled person and ability to communicate effectivelly by showing competence in the field To communicate and discuss by written, oral and visual at advance level using a foreign language in the European language Portfolio To be the informative society that the society she/he live and to be able to continue to contribute to the process with introducing scientific and technological progress in the field of her/his To contribute the solution of social, scientific, cultural and ethical problems related issues encounterd in the her/his field and able to support the development of thee values

Attendance to at least 70% of the courses is mandatory. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and one final exam for each courses. Midterm exam has a contribution to 40% and final exam has 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In order to be succesfull in one course sdudents must score at least 76 points average at the end of the term. Students who uccesfully finished courses are subjected to doctorate profiency exam consisting of oral and written stages. They must score at least 75 points in total. Succesfull ones are qualified for proposal to original PhD thesis( 120 ECTS) in the field that must be defended in fron of a jury. Candidates must have a BSc or MSc diploma, and must have enough ALES , Foreign Language and Oral examination scores.

Gradutes (PhD) can work in industrial organizations or private sectors, as a specialist resercher or technical maneger, such as in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, iron-steel, automotive, food, textile, mining, etc. or as a qulity-controller. And also as academics working in faculties or institutes.

Qualification is continuous
