- Ara sınavın harf notuna katkısı %40’dır. Ancak, bir ara sınav yapılması halinde %40’ı, birden fazla ara sınav ve yarıyıl çalışması yapılması halinde, yapılan sınavların ve yarıyıl içi çalışmalarının ortalamasının %40’ı alınır.
- Yarıyıl içi çalışmalar ve takvimi, yarıyıl başında bölüm başkanlığınca fakülte, yüksekokul veya meslek yüksekokul kuruluna sunulur ve öğrenciye duyurulur. Bir sınıfın dersleri için bir günde ikiden fazla sınav yapılmayacak şekilde program hazırlanır.

Yarıyıl sonu sınavına girmeyen veya bu sınavdan en az 45 puan alamayan öğrencilerin, ara sınav ve yarıyıl içi çalışmaları değerlendirmeye katılmaz ve bu öğrenciler FF harf notu ile değerlendirilir. - Yüksekokulumuzun Veterinerlik bölümünden mezun olan öğrenciler çalışma hayatına iki mesleğe birden sahip olmaktadırlar laborantlık bolümü ile normal hastanelerde ve özel laboratuarlarda laborant unvanı ile çalışabilmektedirler.
- Veteriner bölümü ile Tarım bakanlığına bağlı hayvan sağlığı ile ilgili şube müdürlüklerinde büyükbaş ve küçükbaş hayvan çiftliklerinde, hayvan hastanelerinde, pet shoplar da, ilaç fabrikalarında ve firmalarında, belediye mezbahalarında özel kliniklerde yardımcı eleman olarak çalışma imkânına sahiptirler.
- Aynı zamanda program öğrencileri bulundukları bölgenin şartlarına uygun tarımsal üretim kollarında faaliyette gösteren iş kolları veya kendilerine ait tarımsal faaliyette de bulunabilmektedirler.
