Makine Programının amacı; her türlü makine imalat ve tasarımında görev alacak, imalat sanayiinin talep ettiği kalite kriterlerine sahip makina imalat teknikerleri yetiştirmektir.
- Makine imalat alanlarına ve bilgisayar destekli çizim, tasarım ve üretim bilgisinine sahiptir.
- Matematik, fen bilimleri ve makine bilgisi alanları ile ilgili konularda yeterli alt yapıya sahiptir.
- Makina teknolojisi alanındaki güncel teknikleri ve araçları teknik eğitim alarak kullanır.
- Analitik düşünerek sorunlar karşısında pratik ve teorik bilgilerini, değerlendirir.
- Yaşam boyu öğrenmenin gerekliliği bilincine sahiptir ve teknolojideki araştırma ve geliştirme çalışmalarını takip edip kendini sürekli yeniler.
- İnceleme, problem tanımlama, rapor edebilme becerilerine sahiptir.
- Öğrendiği teorik bilgileri basit mekanik hesaplamalar yaparak makineler üzerinde uygulayabilir.
