Our graduates possess up-to-date mathematical knowledge and skills required by the modern era, are familiar with software used in the field of mathematics, are entrepreneurial, self-confident, team-oriented, equipped with a solid foundation and strong knowledge in mathematics, and have internalized mathematical thinking as they step into life. They can use this knowledge in fields such as banking, insurance, education, information technologies, etc.

Education and training are carried out in the form of formal education. Additionally, formal education is also supported through distance learning using the online education platform prepared by our university.

• It cultivates contemporary, entrepreneurial, self-confident individuals with the ability to make independent decisions, possessing unique and aesthetic values.
• Provides education in branches such as algebra, geometry, applied mathematics, topology, and analysis included in the program to ensure sufficient mathematical proficiency.
• It develops the ability to express mathematics verbally and in writing by understanding mathematical thinking methods.
• It trains individuals who are knowledgeable about the history of mathematics and the production of scientific knowledge, and who can follow developments in this field.
• Provides the necessary equipment to take positions in fields such as finance, econometrics, education, and banking.
• It provides the ability to solve problems encountered in various fields of science and real life through mathematical modeling and mathematical methods.

• Measurement and evaluation methods; types of exams and their contribution to the course success grade are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles set by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) on these matters.
• Different methods such as assignments, projects, practicals, midterm exams, and final exams are used in assessment and evaluation.
• In the evaluation of student success, letter and/or numerical grading systems are used. In the evaluation of student success, letter and/or number-based grading systems are used. Accordingly:

(1)The course instructor announces at the beginning of the term the course content, all matters that will be the basis for calculating the success grade, the relevant resources, and the time they will allocate to students outside of class hours. Exams are evaluated out of a total of 100 points. In units where the course passing system is applied at the university, the success score of a course is the sum of 40% of the midterm (in-semester evaluation) score and 60% of the score obtained from the end-of-term or make-up exam. The fractional number resulting from the calculation is rounded up to the nearest whole number.

(2) In the university, a 100-point system is used for success evaluation. When calculating the equivalents of scores in the 4-point system, the following grade conversion table is used:

(3)From the above letter grades; a) A student who receives one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB), (CC) in a course is considered to have passed that course. Additionally, students with a semester/year grade point average of at least 2.25 are considered successful in the courses for which they received a (DC) letter grade in that semester/year. This result is expressed as (DC+).

b) The letter grades (B) and (K) represent non-credit courses and are not included in the average calculations. c) (M) letter grade; It is given to students who come to the University through transfer from outside the University or who are admitted to the University through the ÖSYM exam, horizontal and vertical transfer, for the courses they have previously taken and recognized by the relevant board of directors upon the recommendation of the department chair, as well as for the courses they pass in the exemption exam. The (M) letter grade is not included in the average calculations. However, the credits for these courses are included in the total credit count for graduation. ç) F1: Unexcused, absent; no right to take midterm/final and make-up exams. d) F2: Continued, did not take the midterm/end-of-year or resit exam. e) F3: Attended, took the midterm/end-of-year exam, but failed because the exam score or course success score was below the expected level. f) F4: He took the resit exam, but he failed because his exam score or course success score was below the expected level. (4) In faculties and vocational schools where the course passing system is applied, the semester/year-end exam score of a student who does not take the resit exam is taken into account.

To ensure the quality of higher education programs;

• YÖK is responsible for the planning, organization, management, and supervision of education, teaching, and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.

• "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" related to higher education institutions, prepared annually within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK, are published. In the reports prepared based on these reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations for higher education institutions, YÖK shares them with the public.

The quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is ensured according to the "Procedures and Principles for Ensuring the Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Creation and Approval of Educational Programs:

1.1. YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the establishment of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.2. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to students are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles set by YÖK on these matters.

1.3. The curriculum of the National Core Education Programs is implemented by higher education institutions after being approved by YÖK, following its acceptance by the relevant Deans' Council.

2. Measurement-Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes that each undergraduate program will provide to the student are conducted in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK in these matters, as per the education and training and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs receive a bachelor's degree upon successfully completing the course credits and other requirements determined by the higher education institutions.

4. Self-Evaluation-External Evaluation: Higher education institutions, within the context of continuous monitoring, enter the "Institutional Self-Evaluation Reports" from the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the "Institutional Feedback Report" it prepares regarding the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. Additionally, the accreditation decisions given by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also demonstrate that the programs' qualifications are ensured through quality assurance. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined by its regulations.

Association for Curriculum Evaluation and Accreditation of Science, Literature, Science-Literature, Language and History-Geography Faculties (FEDEK)

• Graduating from secondary education institutions or foreign secondary education institutions whose equivalence is approved by the Ministry of National Education, and meeting the admission requirements of higher education institutions' undergraduate programs.
• Having been placed in the relevant undergraduate program of the higher education institution as a result of the central exam conducted by the Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center (ÖSYM), the procedures and principles of which are determined by YÖK.
• Having received a sufficient score in the central exam conducted by ÖSYM for programs accepting students through special talent exams, as determined by YÖK's procedures and principles, and having passed the special talent exam.
• Having been placed in undergraduate programs that are a continuation of the fields completed in higher education institutions for associate degree graduates, as determined by YÖK and conducted by ÖSYM through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).

• Those who hold a bachelor's degree can continue to master's programs and, if they meet the relevant conditions, to doctoral and proficiency in art programs accepted with a bachelor's degree.
• Undergraduate students have the right to participate in the double major programs offered by the higher education institutions they are currently enrolled in. Students enrolled in double major programs can take courses from two diploma programs simultaneously and, if successful, can receive two separate bachelor's degrees.
