An undergraduate program that covers an eight-semester program based on secondary education qualifications and provides education in a specific field of study or profession.

Education and training are carried out in the form of formal, open or distance education. In addition, practical training is provided as internships or workplace training in laboratories and workshops within higher education institutions or in industry, healthcare institutions and workplaces.

• Uses theoretical and applied knowledge at the undergraduate level that emphasizes current information and scientific approach in the field of statistics.
• Collects, stores, organizes and summarizes statistical data and creates appropriate tables and graphs to summarize the data.
• Models statistical problems, produces problem-specific solutions and draws statistically meaningful results.
• Has a sufficient level of knowledge in the field of Mathematics, which is the basis of statistical theory.
• Uses computer software and information technologies at the level required by the field of statistics.
• Writes computer programs, uses package programs and algorithms in solving statistical problems.
• Takes responsibility as an individual and team member.
• Follows developments in the fields of statistics and application with a lifelong learning consciousness and constantly renews itself.
• Communicates effectively in Turkish and a foreign language.
• Has universal, social and ethical values in the fields of statistics and application.
• Uses analytical thinking skills to effectively use time in the process of drawing conclusions.

(1) The grade point represents the 4-point scale equivalent of the raw grade point average calculated by taking into account the midterm and final exam scores of the students according to the prescribed weights. Relative or absolute evaluation system is used in the calculation of students' grade points. Whether the relative or absolute evaluation system will be used in the units is determined by the proposal of the unit council and the approval of the Senate.

(2) The principles of measurement and evaluation for relative and absolute evaluation systems, the conditions and limits for participation in the grade point calculation in the relative evaluation system, and the principles regarding the success levels are determined by the Senate.

(3) In both evaluation systems, students who do not take the final exam or makeup exam for a course and who cannot score at least 50 points out of 100 in this exam are considered unsuccessful. This limit may be changed by the proposal of the relevant unit council and the Senate decision. In units where makeup exams are not held and where midterm evaluations are weighted, there is no minimum grade requirement for passing the course from the final exam.

(4) The courses for which the student receives KM and G grades are not taken into account in the calculation of the CGPA.

In order to ensure the quality of higher education programs;

• YÖK is responsible for the planning, organization, management and supervision of education, training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.
• "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" belonging to higher education institutions prepared annually within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK are published. The reports containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations directed at higher education institutions prepared according to these reports are shared with the public by YÖK.
• "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report" containing academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions is published annually by YÖK. These reports, which contain quantitative and qualitative evaluations made for foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

Quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is provided according to the "Procedures and Principles for Providing Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programmes":

1. Creation and Approval of Curriculum:

1.1. YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria for the opening of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.2. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will bring to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

1.3. The curriculum of National Core Education Programs is implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of YÖK after being accepted by the relevant Deans Council.

2. Measurement-Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes that each undergraduate program will provide to the students is carried out in accordance with the education and training and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK in this regard.

3. Documentation: Undergraduate students who successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions receive a bachelor's degree.

4. Self-Evaluation-External Evaluation: Higher education institutions enter the "Institutional Evaluation Reports" of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year in the context of continuous monitoring. YÖKAK shares the "Institutional Feedback Report" it has prepared regarding the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions given by accreditation institutions authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also indicate that the quality of the qualifications of the programs is assured. YÖKAK carries out regular review activities related to the qualifications determined by the legislation.

• To be placed in the relevant undergraduate program of the higher education institution as a result of the central examination conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), whose procedures and principles are determined by YÖK.
• To graduate from secondary education institutions or foreign secondary education institutions whose equivalence is approved by the Ministry of National Education and to meet the admission requirements for undergraduate programs of higher education institutions.

• Bachelor's degree holders can continue to master's programs and doctoral and master's of arts programs accepted with a bachelor's degree if they meet the relevant conditions.
• Undergraduate students have the right to participate in double major programs opened by the higher education institutions they are studying at. Students enrolled in double major programs can take courses from two diploma programs at the same time and receive two separate bachelor's degrees if they are successful.
