Further Info | In the assessment and evaluation system of the program; for each course has a midterm, a final exam and a make-up exams. In some courses projects are given in addition to the exams. The examinations of the theoretical courses are made written. However the examinations of the practical courses are made oral. Students who continue of during the semester to the practice courses are taken to oral examination from the practice courses at the end of semester. Students who had succesful from practice exam are qualify to enter the final exam at the end of semester. Students who had failed from practice exam can not enter the final exam at the end of semester. They have to continue again to the same course next year. Contribution of midterm exam of success grade is 40%. Contribution of final exam of success grade is 60%. | |

Conditions for Success | Students who wish to make register to Fruit and Vegetable Processing Technology Program should complete secondary education program. Vocational high school graduates should have graduated from secondary school program set by the Higher Education Authority to make the transition without an examination. Students who these programs are outside can be placed by the university selection exam to the program. To settle to the program, the current area had been determined as "numerical" as of 2011–2012 academic year. | |
Progression Paths (Relationship Type) | Graduates of the program can be employed in public and private sectors. Public Personnel Selection Examination (PPSE) score must be 70 at least to work in the public sector. After that, they can be placed to the units that the state needed. If the PPSE score larger than 85–90, it is getting advantage for placement to the graduates. Graduates can work as "responsible manager" in the private sector. Graduates have authorized to sign in the food enterprises smaller than 60 HP machine power as responsible manager. They can be responsible manager on maximum two enterprise. Also, graduates can work in the food companies have bigger than 60 HP machine power. However, in this case they have authorized to sign only in the company. The program graduates's employment areas; fruit and vegetable processing factories (canned food, jam, dry food, brine, olives, fruit juice, etc.), sellers (hypermarkets, dealers, etc.), analysis laboratories, catering enterprises, hotels F&B departments, pharmaceutical companies, organic food businesses, cold storages, and etc. Also graduates can work in Public Education Centers and the Ministry of Education as a contracted vocational teacher. | |

- To understand the basic subjects about occupational, to resolve the requirements of manager in the sector, proactive, the ability to use of the manager and organizational features.
- To use modern techniques and computational tools, able to develop professional research skills.
- To use and recognition of machinery, equipment and machines in the food sector, to make simple adjustments of machinery according to product specification .
- To make and interpreting all of control like chemical, physical, microbiological, sensory and instrumental analysis about producing, ability to be conscious and responsible about system quality control and hygiene .
- To understand the features of importance on harvesting, processing, packaging, storage and sale, to determine flaw and ability to communicate errors related persons.
